Tambahan 10 Jam untuk Pendalaman Kurikulum 2013

Peserta Sarjana Mendidik di Daerah Tedepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal (SM3T) Angkatan IV mulai mengikuti prakondisi, Selasa hingga Minggu (12-24/8). Selama 13 hari mereka akan memperoleh pembekalan selama 130 jam untuk mempersiapkan pengabdian di daerah.

Durasi pembelajaran bertambah 10 jam dibandingkan prakondisi tahun sebelumnya. Sebab, pada tahun ini peserta mendapat materi tambahan berupa pendalamaan implementasi Kurikulum 2013.

Kepala Pusat Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) Unnes Drs Ngabiyanto MSi menyampaikan hal itu saat membuka prakondisi di Graha Sinode, Salatiga.

Menurut Ngabiyanto, tahun ini Unnes telah memilih 250 sarjana peserta SM3T. Mereka berasal dari 14 lembaga pendidikan tenaga pendidikan (LPTK) di Indonesia.

Selain Unnes, peserta SM3T Unnes angkatan IV berasal dari UNS Surakarta, Universitas PGRI Semarang, Universitas Manado, UPI Bandung, UPS Tegal, UKSW Salatiga, UMK Kudus, Unmuh Purwokerto, Unmuh Surakarta, Universitas Widya Darma Klaten, Universitas Sarwi Yogyakarta, IKIP Budi Utomo, dan Universitas Sultan Agung Tirtayasa.

Mereka berhak mengikuti prakondisi setelah dinyatakan lolos seleksi adminsitrasi, tes online, tes tertulis, dan wawancara. Jumlah 250 merupakan hasil seleksi dari 1.306 yang mendaftar secara online.

“Mereka akan ditempatkan di 7 daerah di 5 provinsi, yaitu Nangroe Aceh Darussalam, Kalimantan Barat, Kalimantan Timur, Nusa Tenggara Timur, dan Papua,” terang Ngabiyanto.

Sementara itu, Pembantu Rektor Bidang Akademik Dr Agus Wahyudin MSi menjelaskan, kahadiran para SM3T telah diharapkan oleh bupati dan kepala dinas di daerah. Sebab, mereka berharap agar para sarjna terpilih ini berkontribusi memajukan pendidikan di daerah mereka.

“Nama program ini adalah PPG SM3T. Saudara menjadi sarjana yang menganyam kesatuan bangsa ini, menjalin persaudaraan dengan saudara jauh kita. Maka, karakter yang Saudara tunjukkan adalah karakter nasionalis,” katanya.

Agus berpesan agar para peserta SM3T menikmati pengabdian. Meski terasa sulit dan menantang, ia yakin kenangan manis dan indah yang akan diperoleh para peserta usai mengikuti program itu.
