Talkshow “Around the Career”, Membangun Road Map Karir Sejak Awal Perkuliahan

Persoalan menggapai karir acapkali menjadi kegelisahan para mahasiswa, kemana dan bagaimana karir setelah lulus dari bangku kuliah nantinya. Terlebih-lebih di tengah-tengah kompetisi yang ketat dari para job seeker dari pelbagai lulusan perguruan tinggi negeri dan swasta di negeri ini. Apa yang harus dipersiapkan, strategi dan kiat-kiat bagaimana yang harus ditempuh agar karir yang diinginkan dapat diraih. Demikian topik diskusi yang mengemuka yang diselenggarakan oleh Forum Mahasiswa Jurusan Psikologi Industri dan Organisasi (Forpio) UNNES yang berlangsung pada hari Sabtu (22/7) di Ruang GSG FIK, UNNES.
Turut hadir dua narasumber dalam acara ini, Dr Eko Supraptono, MPd, selalu Kepala Pusat Pengembangan Karir dan Bimbingan Konseling UNNES dan Anantyo Seto Pambudi, wirausahwan muda alumni Jurusan Psikologi.
Menurut Eko Supraptono, mahasiswa sudah harus memiliki perencanaan karir yang jelas sejak dini atau mulai memasuki semester awal. Mahasiswa perlu menetapkan cita-cita karir yang hendak dituju, sehingga road map titian karir mereka menjadi jelas. Lebih lanjut, Eko menyatakan, mahasiswa harus peka terhadap potensi dirinya sehingga treatment proses self-developing maupun multy tasking skill developing yang diberikan akan lebih tepat sasaran dan efektif. Ia berharap para mahasiswa/ alumni memanfaatkan pusat yang dipimpinnya, karena program-programnya memang diperuntukkan dalam rangka pengembangan karir civitas akademika.
Sementara itu, menurut Seto Anantyo satu kunci suskses berwirausaha adalah keberanian, modal, passion, dan religiusitas. Menjadi wirausahawan harus didasari oleh passion yang benar-benar sesuai dengan diri sendiri dan perlu keberanian. Berwirausaha juga merupakan pilihan karir yang menantang dan menggairahkan. Faktor sukses menjalani wirausaha, dikatakannya cukup banyak tetapi hal yang paling penting adalah kejujuran, semangat berbagi dan berani berinovasi.
Acara Talk Show diikuti oleh para aktivis dan mahasiswa jurusan Psikologi dengan sangat antausias hingga selesai, dengan berbagai pertanyaan dari yang ringan-ringan hingga sangat serius. Acara diakhiri dengan penyerahan cindera mata kepada para nara sumber dan ramah tamah. (Cesar, Student Staff)
