Supaya Kita Tak “Lupa Endonesa”

Tak malu korupsi? Tak malu berperilaku buruk? Tak malu mencederai bangsa sendiri? Atau mungkin malu tak lagi menjadi tren? Itulah pandangan penulis buku “Lupa Endonesa” Sujiwo Tejo tentang kondisi kekinian bangsa ini, dalam bedah bukunya di Gedung C7 Lt 3 Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Semarang (FIS Unnes) kampus Sekaran, Rabu (14/11). Acara tidak hanya gayeng, tapi juga menyuguhkan kritik yang mendalam.

Di awal bedah buku yang begitu terasa sebagai diskusi ini, Mbah Tejo (sapaan akrabnya) membuka dengan lagu “Pada Suatu Ketika”. Ketika dibuka sesi pertanyaan, banyak hadirin yang ingin bertanya. Dari sini lahir diskusi yang cukup dalam.

Mbah Tejo menyampaikan, jangan menganggap dampak dari buku karyanya ini. “Kitab suci saja tidak serta merta memberikan dampak langsung sesuatu berubah menjadi baik. Apalagi hanya buku karya saya ini, yang dipercaya adalah efek yang timbul, biar alam semesta yang akan bekerja,” kata dalang yang nama aslinya Agus Hadi Sudjiwo itu.

Pewayangan

Di buku ini, secara khusus Sujiwo Tejo mengkritisi, atau setidaknya mempertanyakan, berbagai peristiwa tak pantas yang terjadi di zaman Indonesia modern. Dengan mengemasnya dalam kosmologi pewayangan, dia mampu menangkap berbagai peristiwa yang memalukan di sekitar kita, yang anehnya dianggap wajar oleh banyak orang. Lalu ia hembuskan dalam bahasanya yang mengalir, cerdas, dan kocak.

Sedangkan budayawan lain yang menjadi pembedah buku, Prie GS mengungkapkan, dengan bahasa terselubung dan melibatkan Punakawan, Mbah Tejo menyentil banyak pihak dengan cerdas, menohok, nyeleneh, tapi banyak benarnya. “Pemikiran-pemikirannya akan membuat malu banyak pihak, terutama yang lupa bahwa dirinya adalah bangsa Indonesia yang berbudi pekerti luhur,” kata Prie.

Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Unnes Prof Marukhi sangat meng apresiasi kegiatan bertema Konservasi Nasionalisme melalui Bulan Sejarah yang diselenggarakan oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Sejarah (Hima) FIS Unnes ini.

Prof Masrukhi mengatakan, konservasi memang telah menjadi visi Unnes. “Keberadaan Unnes sebagai universitas konservasi telah kami deklarasikan, namun untuk konservasi nasionalisme masih ada dalam pikiran,” katanya.

Acara yang berlangsung dua jam lebih itu tidak hanya dihadiri oleh 200 mahasiswa Unnes, tapi mahasiswa dari perguruan tinggi lain di wilayah Jawa tengah dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.
