Tahun Kedua, Dewan Penyantun Pendidikan (DPP) UNNES Berikan Beasiswa bagi 400 Mahasiswa

Dewan Penyantun Pendidikan (DPP) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) kembali menunjukkan komitmennya dalam memberikan akses pendidikan bagi mahasiswa dari keluarga kurang mampu. Dewan yang beranggotakan 15 tokoh tersebut berhasil menghimpun dana beasiswa bagi mahasiswa UNNES.

Pada tahun kedua ini, dana yang dihimpun DPP UNNES akan disalurkan sebagai beasiswa bagi 400 mahasiswa. Jumlah ini naik dari tahun pertama (2024) sebesar 396 mahasiswa.

Dalam pertemuan dengan di Kantor Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian di Jakarta, Rektor UNNES menyampaikan terima kasih kepada 15 tokoh yang bergabung dalam Dewan Penyantun Pendidikan UNNES tersebut.

Ia menyampaikan bahwa kepedulian DPP UNNES sangat bermakna bagi UNNES dan mahasiswa yang menerima manfaat beasiswa tersebut.

“Tahun 2024 lalu, berkat kepedualian Bapak dan Ibu semua, kita bisa menggratiskan biaya pendidikan bagi 394 mahasiswa. Tahun 2025 ini jumlahnya bertambah. Sebanyak 400 mahasiswa akan menerima beasiswa DPP sehingga dapat menempuh pendidikan secara gratis,” kata Rektor UNNES Prof. Dr. S Martono MSi.

UNNES akan menyalurkan beasiswa DPP UNNES mahasiswa kurang mampu yang belum dapat diakomodasi beasiswa KIP-Kuliah (KIP-K).

Menurut ⁠Rektor, beasiswa dari Dewan Penyantun Pendidikan UNNES sangat bermakna. Oleh karena itu, pihaknya  berharap, banyak pengusaha lain yang akan ikut berpartisipasi dan bergabung dengan DPP UNNES.

Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian yang juga penasihat DPP UNNES Dr. (H.C.) Ir. Airlangga Hartarto menilai program ini sangat baik sehingga harus dilanjutkan.

Selain memberi manfaat nyata bagi mahasiswa, Program DPP UNNES juga selaras dengan program Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto untuk melahirkan generasi emas Indonesia.

“Bapak Presiden mempunyai program bantuan sosial berupa magang di korporasi khusus untuk freshgraduate (1 tahun) dengan upah minimum masing-masing kabupaten,” kata Airlangga.

Dewan Penyantun Pendidikan UNNES merupakan dewan yang berisi 15 pengusaha nasional yang menunjukkan kepedulian dan komitmen bagi pengembangan pendidikan tinggi. Dewan ini dipimpin oleh Komisaris Utama PT Dynaplast, Dr (H.C.) Gunawan Tjokro MBA.

Selain Arialngga Hartarto sebagai Penasihat dan Gunawan Tjokro sebagai Ketua, DPP UNNES beranggotakan ejumlah tokoh dan korporasi, antara lain
