Startup UNNES – Nestra Kottama Indonesia Perkenalkan Inovasi Kopi dan Rempah Berkelanjutan di Try Everything 2024 Korea Selatan

Startup Nestra Kottama Indonesia dari Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) berhasil menunjukkan inovasi mereka di ajang Try Everything 2024 yang diadakan di Seoul, Korea Selatan pada Rabu hingga Kamis (11 – 12/9/2024). Try Everything merupakah festival startup global tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh Pemerintah Metropolitan Seoul, Korea Selatan. Festival ini dirancang untuk mempertemukan para pengusaha, investor, dan ahli industri dari seluruh dunia untuk berbagi ide, membangun jaringan, dan mengeksplorasi peluang kolaborasi.

Tim Nestra UNNES dipimpin oleh Dr. Eka Yuli Astuti dari Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS), bersama dua mahasiswa, Nalendra Iffata dari Fakultas Teknik (FT) dan M. Saiful Arni dari Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Psikologi (FIPP).

Nestra Kottama merupakan startup yang dibina oleh Business and Export Development Organization (BEDO), Kementerian Perdagangan, Kementerian Perindustrian, BRIN, dan Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia (APINDO). Di acara tersebut, Nestra menampilkan produk unggulan berupa Sustainable Coffee dan Sustainable Spices yang mengusung konsep keberlanjutan dalam aspek lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi.

Pada acara pembukaan, Tim Nestra berkesempatan menyajikan kopi Jawa Tengah kepada Oh Se Hoon, Wali Kota Seoul, serta para tamu VVIP dari berbagai negara.

Menurut Jeff Kristianto, Board Officer dan Ahli BEDO, Nestra terpilih sebagai satu dari 30 startup yang dikurasi dari 400 startup Indonesia dalam program NEXT – Kemendag. Setelah mendapatkan pendampingan ekspor selama tiga bulan dari BEDO dan Kementerian Perdagangan, Jeff berharap keenam startup Indonesia terpilih siap menghadapi tantangan perdagangan global dan dapat menyesuaikan rencana bisnis dengan negara tujuan ekspor.

Eko Prilianto Sudrajat, Atase Perdagangan Republik Indonesia, menyambut baik kehadiran Startup Nestra sebagai perwakilan perguruan tinggi yang mampu menembus pasar internasional, khususnya di Korea Selatan. Ia berencana mengundang kembali Startup Nestra untuk berpartisipasi dalam ajang internasional lainnya di Seoul, guna memberikan kesempatan lebih bagi Nestra untuk menjaring calon pembeli dan investor potensial.

Pada hari kedua, Nestra bersama lima startup delegasi Indonesia lainnya berkesempatan mempresentasikan produk inovasinya dalam sesi presentasi bertajuk “Unleashing Giants: Indonesian Fast Track to Unicorn Success and Next Big Startups to Watch“. Mereka menampilkan pitch deck produk Sustainable Spices and Coffee yang menarik perhatian para investor dan pegiat startup internasional.

Sebagai bagian dari hilirisasi dan komersialisasi hasil riset di pasar global, Nestra juga mengikuti sesi Business Matching yang difasilitasi oleh Seoul Business Agency dan Atase Perdagangan Republik Indonesia di Korea Selatan. Mereka bertemu dengan calon pembeli potensial untuk mendiskusikan peluang pembelian produk inovasi kopi dan rempah berkelanjutan. Proses perundingan ini diharapkan dapat berlanjut ke tahap kontrak bisnis, membuka peluang besar bagi Nestra untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar internasional.

Keikutsertaan Startup UNNES – Nestra Kottama dalam ajang bergengsi ini menegaskan kemampuan inovasi startup Indonesia untuk bersaing di pasar global, terutama dalam mempromosikan produk-produk berkelanjutan yang berbasis riset dan inovasi.
