Sri Rejeki, Tunadaksa Penggagas Taman Belajar Membaca

Kegemaran membaca harus ditanamkan kepada anak sejak dini. Keyakinan itulah yang selalu menjadi motivasi Sri Rejeki, seorang penyandang tunadaksa dari Tegal, yang tetap gigih membaktikan hidupnya agar anak-anak gemar membaca.

Meski dalam ketidaksempurnaan fisik, Sri Rejeki telah mendirikan Taman Belajar Membaca (TBM) di Terminal Kota Tegal.

Sebagai wujud kepedulian dan apresiasi terhadap kiprah dia, pada Bulan Pendidikan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP) 2014, Prodi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Negeri Semarang (PGSD Unnes) UPP Tegal melaksanakan bakti sosial berupa memberi bantuan ke taman belajar tersebut. Bantuan berupa buku diserahkan pada Minggu (4/5), di kampus PGSD Unnes UPP Tegal.

Sri Rejeki mengungkapkan, dirinya selalu ingin berbagi meski dalam ketidaksempurnaan. “Bersyukurlah bagi Anda yang diberi kesempurnaan dan mempunyai kesempatan lebih untuk bisa berbagi.  Motivasi saya di tengah keterbatasan ini adalah bertekad untuk bisa berbagi melebihi Anda semuanya,” ujarnya.

Pada saat yang bersamaan, diadakan pula Forum Silaturahmi Tegal Raya (Forstera). Hadir dalam acara itu, Koordinator PGSD Unnes UPP Tegal Drs Akhmad Junaedi MPd, Pendamping UPKKI Drs Teguh Supriyanto MPd, dan tak ketinggalan TBM Terminal Tegal dan 77 mahasiswa dari berbagai Lembaga Dakwah Kampus (LDK) di Kota Tegal.

Acara ini merupakan bentuk kerja sama seluruh LDK di wilayah Kota Tegal yang tergabung dalam Forum Silaturahim Lembaga Dakwah Kampus (FSLDK) Puskomda Purwokerto.

LDK yang mengikuti acara ini ialah UPKKI (Unit Pelaksana Kegiatan Kerohanian Islam) Unnes, UKMI (Unit Kegiatan Kerohanian Islam) UPS, UKKI Unsoed Prwokerto, Forum Mahasiswa Islam (Formasi) Politeknik Tegal, Lisan Politeknik Transportasi Darat, Organization Moslim Campus LP3I dan Rohis IKM Akper Pemkot Tegal.

Mempererat Ukhuwah

Dalam sambutannya pada acara yang mengusung tema “Peran Aktivis dalam Memajukan Pendidikan Indonesia”,  Koordinator PGSD Unnes UPP Tegal Akhmad Junaedi MPd mengatakan, tujuan forum ini untuk mempererat ukhuwah islamiyah antar-lembaga dakwah kampus. “Tidak hanya dakwah intern, namun juga ekstern,” ungkapnya.

Selain itu juga disampaikan materi tentang “Pendidikan di Indonesia Saat Ini” oleh Ustadz Daryono Yusuf serta materi tentang “Aktivis Mahasiswa atau Mahasiswa Aktivis” oleh Ali Akhmad Basyari.

Perwakilan dari FSLDK Puskomda Purwokerto, organisasi yang menyatukan berbagai LDK di beberapa daerah, juga memberi materi tentang kehumasan.

“Acara ini sangat penting bagi mahasiswa masa kini, khususnya para aktivis dakwah kampus yang merupakan calon pemimpin masa depan,” ucap Ketua Panitia Forstera, Mijil Adi Prasetyo.
