Sosialisasikan SNMPTN, Unnes Kunjungi Sejumlah Sekolah

Hingga hari ke-19 pendaftaran Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN), tim sosialisasi SNMPTN Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) terus melakukan kunjungan ke sejumlah sekolah di berbagai kota di Jawa Tengah.

Kegiatan ini, menurut Kepala UPT Pusat Humas Unnes Sucipto Hadi Purnomo, sebagai upaya memperhatikan para murid agar memiliki kesempatan mengikuti SNMPTN. Selain itu, sebagai respons terhadap sejumlah kebingungan kepala sekolah dan siswa atas pendaftaran SNMPTN.

“Tentunya dengan harapan nantinya tidak ditemukan siswa yang dirugikan karena tidak ikut Seleksi SNMPTN,” kata Sucipto ketika melakukan sosialisasi di SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga, Sabtu (8/3). Dalam sosialisasi yang diikuti siswa dan pengelola sekolah itu, dilakukan simulasi pengisian borang, mulai dari input data oleh kepala sekolah hingga pemilihan program studi oleh siswa.

Sucipto mengemukakan, dari sosialisasi itu diketahui pula bahwa para siswa belum tahu benar cara mengisikan pilihan masing-masing. “Banyak pertanyaan dialamatkan kepada kami,” ujarnya. Karena itu, tim selalu menyediakan diri untuk melakukan pendampingan bagi sekolah yang memerlukan.

Mengunggah Portofolio

Sucipto juga menyinggung sepinya pendaftar pada Program Studi Ilmu Keolahragaan Unnes dan hampir semua program studi olah raga dan seni. Kesulitan untuk mengunggah portofolio diduga menjadi penyebab sepinya pendaftar pada kelompok olah raga dan seni.

“Memang salah satu langkah yang harus dilakukan para pendaftar kelompok program studi olah raga dan seni adalah pengunggahan portofolio. Langkah itu mungkin sangat menyulitkan para calon pendaftar,” katanya.

Dia memprediksi para calon pendaftar kedua program studi tersebut baru akan mendaftarkan diri setelah menempuh ujian sekolah, mengingat pembuatan bahan untuk portofolio membutuhkan waktu dan sarana tersendiri.

“Mungkin sekali pada hari-hari menjelang penutupan pendaftaran pada 31 Maret 2014 nanti mereka baru mengunggah portofolio dan mendaftarkan diri,” kata Sucipto.

    Sosialisasi snmptn dan juga unnes tidak hanya di lakukan di berbagai kota di jawa tengah, tetapi sampai ke daerah CIAYUMAJAKUNING (Cirebon, Indramayu, Majalengka, Kuningan) yang di lakukan oleh tim sosialisasi dari E Comunity (Keluarga Mahasiswa Ciayumajakuning) cabang UNNES
