Softskill dan Hardskill Harus Imbang

Penguasaan mahasiswa terhadap hard skills maupun soft skills harus berimbang. Kemampuan ini akan sangat menunjang kesuksesan di masa depan saat terjun di masyarakat.

Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Prof Masrukhi mengatakan itu saat membuka pembinaan soft skills Selasa (11/11) lalu di lapangan Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan kampus Sekaran.

Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan bidang kemahasiswaan mengusung tema “Mengokohkan Wawasan Kebangsaan dan Nasionalisme Generasi Muda Menuju Indonesia Emas 2015”.

Pembinaan Softskill diikuti 2.000 mahasiswa selama tiga hari Selasa sampai Kamis (11-13/11). Menghadirkan 20 instruktur profesional dari Kodam IV Diponegoro Semarang dibawah pimpinan Mayor Inf Mulyono SPd MOr dengan materi diantaranya yel yel, peraturan baris berbaris, proxy war, psikologi lapangan, out bond, dan senam tongkat.

Prof Masrukhi juga mengemukakan, hardskill ada juga yang mengatakan identik dengan IQ sedangkan softskill dapat diidentikkan dengan ESQ.

“Kedua skill ini mestinya selalu seimbang. Ketika softskill dan hardskill menyatu bisa melahirkan insan-insan yang cerdas, pandai, dan kompetitif,” kata Prof Masrukhi.

Menurut Prof Masrukhi, di era globalisasi seperti sekarang ini di dalam kehidupan budayanya sudah terwarnai oleh budaya materialisme dan kapitalisme. Nasionalisme Indonesia semakin pudar. Generasi bangsa ini semakin melupakan prinsip prinsip dan tata nilai nasionalisme dan patriotisme.

Oleh karena itu, kata Prof Masrukhi, kegiatan ini mengandung makna strategis dan sangat penting untuk memahami mengapresiasi tentang nasionalisme, patriotisme, dan konserfasi yang diberikan para pelatih profesional selama tiga hari.

Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan karakter mahasiswa berspektif nilai nilai konserfasi menumbuhkan disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan meningkatkan jiwa nasionalisme serta cinta tanah air.
