SNMPTN UNNES, hingga Jumat Siang 15.000 Calon Mahasiswa Mendaftar

Hingga Jumat (3/3) pukul 14.00, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) diminati oleh sebanyak 15.051 calon mahasiswa yang mendaftar melalui jalur Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN). Program Studi Manajemen paling banyak diminati dengan jumlah pendaftar sebanyak 1.249.

Wakil Rektor I Rustono mengatakan, secara rinci, calon mahasiswa yang memilih Prodi Manajemen sebagai pilihan pertama sebanyak 681, sedangkan yang menjadikan prodi ini sebagai pilihan kedua sejumlah 568. Adapun prodi dengan peminat terbanyak kedua dari sebanyak 93 prodi yang ada di kampus ini adalah Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) dengan jumlah pendaftar 1.127.

”Secara keseluruhan, hingga saat ini jumlah pendaftar Unnes melalui jalur SNMPTN sebanyak 15.051. Sedangkan 4.225 di antaranya mendaftar beasiswa Bidikmisi,” kata Rustono, di kampus Sekaran, Gunungpati, Kota Semarang.

Rustono mewanti-wanti kepada calon pendaftar untuk memanfaatkan waktu sebaik mungkin, mengingat pendaftaran SNMPTN bakal ditutup Senin (6/3) besok.

Prodi yang terbilang masih sepi peminat yaitu Pendidikan Seni Tari yang baru diminati 10 pendaftar, disusul Pendidikan Jasmani Kesehatan dan Rekreasi (11), Ilmu Keolahragaan (13), dan Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (16). Hasil seleksi SNMPTN 2017 akan diumumkan pada 26 April mendatang.

Pada penerimaan mahasiswa tahun 2017, UNNES akan menerima 6.788 mahasiswa dengan komposisi 30% atau sebanyak 1.997 mahasiswa untuk SNMPTN, 40% (2.658) untuk Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN), dan 30% (2.135) untuk Seleksi Mandiri.

Menurut Rustono, persentase SBMPTN sengaja dibuat paling besar karena dari hasil penelitian, mahasiswa yang masuk melalui jalur ini lebih berkualitas. Ada dua program studi baru yang dibuka di kampus ini, yaitu Ilmu Gizi dan Teknik Elektro. Ilmu Gizi akan menerima 80 mahasiswa, sedangkan Teknik Elektro 40 mahasiswa. Hingga waktu yang sama, Ilmu Gizi telah diminati oleh 258 calon mahasiswa, sedangkan Teknik Elektro sebanyak 113 pendaftar.
