SNMPTN 2014, Unnes PTN Terfavorit ke-6 se-Indonesia

Data pendaftar Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN) 2014 menempatkan Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) sebagai perguruan tinggi negeri (PTN) terfavorit ke-6 se-Indonesia.

Secara berturut-turut enam PTN favorit tersebut adalah Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), Universitas Brawijaya (UB), dan Unnes. Data tersebut sekaligus menempatkan Unnes sebagai universitas eks-IKIP paling diminati di Indonesia.

Kabar itu disampaikan Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum dalam acara pengajian Ahad Wage yang rutin diselenggarakan keluarga besar Unnes di Rumah Dinas Rektor Jl Kelud Semarang, Minggu (18/5). Menurut Rektor, banyaknya peminat yang mendaftarkan diri ke Unnes merupakan prestasi sekaligus tanggung jawab.

“Ini merupakan prestasi kita, sebab kita bisa menjaga nama besar lembaga sehingga dipercaya oleh masyarakat. Tapi ini juga sekaligus menjadi tanggung jawab, sebab kita harus memberikan mahasiswa layanan terbaik,” katanya.

SNMPTN adalah satu dari tiga jalur penerimaan mahasiswa baru Unnes tahun 2014. Proses SNMPTN telah dimulai sejak Januari 2014 lalu. Hasil seleksi akan diumukan pada 27 Mei 2014. Unnes menyisakan dua jalur lain yaitu, SBMPTN dan SPMU.

Dalam pengajian yang sama, Kepala Biro Adminsitrasi Umum dan Kepegawaian (BAUK) Drs H Anwar Haryono MPd kembali mengingatkan umat Islam untuk selalu mendirikan salat. Menurutnya, ibadah salah salat adalah salah satu ibadah paling istimewa karena perintahnya disampaikan Allah Swt dengan memanggil Rasulullah langsung ke sidratul muntaha dalam peristiwa Isra Miraj.

“Terhadap salat, perintah terhadap kita jelas, yakni segerakan. Ini mengandung dua arti. Pertama, segera dalam arti anak-anak kita supaya segera melaksanakan salat sejak kecil. Kedua, segera kita tunaikan begitu kita mendengar azan,” katanya.
