Silaturahmi, Modal Berharga Majukan Lembaga

Silaturahmi diyakini menjadi modal yang sangat berharga agar Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) bisa terus bergerak maju. Oleh karena itu, silaturahmi harus dipelihara dari waktu ke waktu.

Demikian salah satu hikmah yang dipetik dalam acara silaturahmi dan tasyakuran Unnes, Selasa (24/9) malam di Rumah Dinas Rektor Jalan Kelud Raya, Semarang. Acara itu terasa istimewa karena selain dihadiri mahasiswa, karyawan, pendidik dan pimpinan, juga dihadiri tiga mantan Rektor Unnes sekaligus, yaitu Prof Dr Retmono, Prof Dr  Rasdi Ekosiswoyo, dan Prof Dr AT Soegito.

“Saya melihat suatu perkembangan yang luar biasa di Unnes ini. Oleh karena itu saya sangat bangga dan bahagia Rektor Unnes mengadakan silaturahmi. Silaturahmi dalam bahasa jawa kan nyambung paseduluran,” kata Prof Dr AT Soegito.

Prof Dr Retmono, Rektor Unnes pada 1986 hingga 1994 mengenang, rumah dinas Kelud pertama kali ditempati oleh Pak Hari Mulyono. Sejak saat itu Rumah Dinas telah digunakan sebagai tempat silaturahmi yang hangat.

Suatu hari, kenang Prof Dr Retmono, almarhum Pak Hari kehilangan barang-barang di rumah ini. Lalu datang petugas dari Polsek Gajahmungkur. Saat itu Pak Hari sedang berkumpul dengan tiga pembantu rektor, yakni Prof Retmono sendiri, Pak Sunu Waluyo, dan Pak Humar Syahman. Petugas Polsek tanya “Mereka siapa?” Pak Hari menjawab bahwa mereka adalah para pembantu rektor.

“Pembantu rektor ada 3 kok bisa Pak Hari kehilangan? Lha pembantu ini apa saja kerjanya?” ucap Prof Retmono, menirukan petugas Polsek, disambut tawa hadirin.

Sementara itu, Rektor Unnes periode 1994-2002 Prof Rasdi Ekosiswoyo berharap, Unnes bisa terus tumbuh menjadi lembaga pendidikan yang besar. Ia meminta kepada pimpinan universitas amanah menjalankan tugasnya.

“Ya jadikan Unnes ini lebih baik, lebih baik, dan lebih baik. Itu ora ono entek e wis ngono ae kata kuncine amanah wis ngono ae,” kata Prof Rasdi dengan gaya khasnya.

Mendapat berbagai masukan, Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman mengaku senang. Ia menilai, silaturahmi semacam itu harus terus dijalin untuk memupuk rasa persaudaraan sehingga bisa bersama-sama membesarkan lembaga.

“Unnes adalah lembaga besar dan akan terus besar. Siapa yang akan membesarkan? Tentu saja kita semua,” kata Profesor Sosiolinguistik ini.
