Silaturahmi Mempererat Tali Persaudaraan

Pertemuan para pensiun seperti ini perlu dilestarikan sebagai upaya mempererat tali silaturahmi keluarga besar Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) sehingga komunikasi tetap terjalin dengan baik.

Demikian dikatakan Rektor Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo pada silaturahmi dengan para pensiunan Unnes, Kamis (15/3) di auditorium kampus Sekaran.

Kegiatan dalam rangka Dies Natalis Ke-48 itu dihadiri Pembantu Rektor Bidang Administrasi Umum (PR II) Dr Wahyono, PR III Prof Masrukhi, PR IV Prof Fathur Rohman, Prof Retmono (mantan Rektor), Dekan, dan ratusan pensiunan.

Rektor juga mengemukakan, 2013 penerimaan mahasiswa baru di Unnes melalui tiga jalur yakni Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN), Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN), dan Mandiri yang sering di sebut Seleksi Penerimaan Masuk Unnes (SPMU).

“Saat ini yang dibuka pertama kali adalah SNMPTN jumlah yang mendaftar mencapai 99.670 orang. Itu artinya unnes sudah mulai mendapatkan perhatian dari masyarakat bangsa ini,” kata Rektor.
Jumlah itu, kata Rektor, tersebar dari 33 provinsi yang sda di Indonesia yakni dari Jawa Tengah, Jawa Barat, Jawa Timur, Jakarta, Aceh, Sulawesi, dan Kalimantan.

Oleh karena itu apa yang dilakukan oleh pendahulu betul-betul kami sadari. Jalan yang kami tapaki adalah tinggal melanjutkan dari para pendahulu kami sehingga tidak ada niatan melupakan dari jasa-jasa pendahulu kami, tegas Rektor.

“Kami sadar betul. Kami ini sesungguhnya tinggal enaknya saja mengikuti jalan besar yang telah disiapkan oleh para pendahulu, para senior kami,” kata prof Sudijono.

Untuk itu dalam rangka meningkatkan dan mengembangkan tri darma perguruan tinggi para pensiunan dimohon memberikan dukungan dan sumbang sarannya kepada Unnes supaya semakin kuat dan mampu menunjukkan prestasinya, pinta Rektor.

Zudindarto Budhyhartono Ketua Persatuan Wredatama (nama persatuan pensiunan) Unnes melaporkan sampai dengan tanggal 1 Maret 2013 ini anggotanya berjumlah 521 orang, terdiri atas pensiunan 341 orang dan warakawuri (janda/duda pensiunan) 180 orang.

Sejumlah itu dari Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP) 76 orang, FBS (71), FIS FE dan FH (92), FMIPA (55), FT (61), FIK (54), Biro Administrasi Akademik Kemahasiswaan dan Keja sama (BAAKK) dan Pascasarjana (28), Biro Administrasi Umum dan Kepegawaian (BAUK) dan Biro Administrasi Perencanaan dan Keuangan (56), serta UPT dan Lembaga (28).

Setelah memberi sambutan Rektor menyerahkan tali asih kepada ketua Wredatama Zudindartto Budhyhartono.
