Siap Berlaga! UNNES Kirim 6 Atlet dan 3 Official ke SEA Games 2025 Thailand

Rombongan kontingen Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) resmi bertolak ke Thailand pada Selasa (9/12/2025) untuk mengikuti ajang SEA Games 2025 yang berlangsung pada 9–20 Desember 2025. Keberangkatan ini menjadi bagian dari komitmen UNNES dalam mendukung prestasi mahasiswa dan dosen di tingkat internasional, khususnya pada bidang olahraga.

Pada gelaran tahun ini, UNNES mengirimkan enam atlet terbaik dari berbagai cabang olahraga. Mereka adalah Tharisa Dea Florentiana (Pendidikan Jasmani Sekolah Dasar) yang bertanding pada cabang Wushu, Rikha Khilmiyati (Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan, dan Rekreasi/PJKR) dan Yudha Aswinatama (PJKR) pada cabang Sepak Takraw, Alviyanto Bagas Prastyadi (PJKR) pada cabang Panahan, serta Safira Dwi Meilani (PJKR) pada cabang Pencak Silat.

Tidak hanya atlet, UNNES juga memberangkatkan tiga tenaga pendukung yang berperan penting dalam persiapan tim nasional Indonesia. Dr. Tri Aji, S.Pd., M.Pd., dosen Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga (PKO) yang dipercaya sebagai pelatih cabang Sepak Takraw. Kemudian, Drs. Kriswantoro, M.Pd., yang juga merupakan dosen PKO, bertugas sebagai pelatih Woodball. Sementara itu, Agus Darmawan, S.Pd., M.Pd., dosen PJKR, turut berkontribusi sebagai juri Gymnastic – Men’s Artistic.

Keikutsertaan para mahasiswa dan dosen ini menjadi kebanggaan tersendiri bagi UNNES, mengingat konsistensi kampus dalam mencetak atlet berprestasi yang mampu bersaing di tingkat regional. Mereka juga telah melalui proses seleksi dan pelatihan intensif bersama tim nasional sebelum diberangkatkan ke Thailand.

Prestasi UNNES pada edisi SEA Games sebelumnya turut menjadi penyemangat bagi kontingen tahun ini. Pada SEA Games 2023 di Kamboja, UNNES berhasil menyumbangkan empat medali emas, masing-masing dari cabang wushu melalui Bintang Reindra Nada Guitara (PJKR) dan Tharisa Dea Florentiana, serta dari cabang pencak silat melalui Atifa Fismawati (Kelas D Putri) dan Safira Dwi Meilani (Kelas B Putri). Keberhasilan tersebut menjadi pijakan kuat bagi UNNES untuk kembali mencetak prestasi gemilang.

UNNES berharap seluruh atlet dapat memberikan penampilan terbaik, menjunjung sportivitas, dan membawa pulang prestasi yang membanggakan bagi Indonesia dan almamater. Dengan dukungan penuh dari sivitas akademika, kontingen UNNES optimistis mampu mengulang bahkan melampaui capaian edisi sebelumnya. (Ananda Fathiyyah Utami)
