Sholat Subuh Berjamaah dan Dzikir, Awali PPAK UNNES 2017

Penerimaan mahasiswa baru melalui Program Pengenalan Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan (PPAK) tahun 2017 di Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), bagi mahasiswa yang beragama Islam diawali dengan Shalat Subuh berjamaah, dzikir, dan tausyiah dari Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum. Mahasiswa non muslim pada jam yang sama melakukan aktivitas ibadah sesuai kepercayaan masing-masing, Sabtu (19/8) di Lapangan Prof Dumadji Kampus Sekaran.

Shalat subuh diikuti oleh 5 ribuan mahasiswa, Rektor dan pimpinan, setelah shalat dilakukan dzikir dan doa bersama untuk kejayaan Indonesia sebagai bagian dari peringatan hari kemerdekaan RI ke 72.

Dalam tausyiahnya Rektor menyampaikan, Islam itu rahmatan lilalamin, oleh karenanya mahasiswa UNNES harus cinta damai, taat beribadah dan menghormati segala perbedaan dalam kebhinekaan. Lebih lanjut, Agama apapun pasti melarang umatnya menggunakan narkoba, anti radikalisme, dan menjauhi segala perbuatan yang tidak terpuji.

Selanjut Prof Fathur Juga menyampaikan, “kegiatan Program Pengenalan Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan (PPAK)diselenggarakan untuk penguatan karakter mahasiswa baru melalui kegiatan yang akademis untuk menyiapkan mereka menjadi mahasiswa yang berprestasi. Kalau ingin sukses, harus mempunyai cita-cita dan tekad yang jelas. Harus menjadi mahasiswa yang tidak hanya bermanfaat bagi diri sendiri tetapi juga bagi banyak orang”, jelasnya.

“Saya dulu suka sekali membaca komik, namun setelah menyadari bahwa sukses itu butuh komitmen dan kerja keras, saya mengubah cara membaca saya. Semenjak itu, saya rajin membaca buku kajian untuk menambah keilmuan agar bermanfaat bagi saya dan orang lain” imbuhnya.

Menurut Prof Fathur, ada empat langkah yang dapat dilakukan untuk meraih kesuksesan.
Pertama, kalau ingin sukses harus memiliki cita-cita yang jelas.
Kedua, berikan kesungguhan disetiap usaha dan doa untuk meraih kesuksesan tersebut.
Ketiga, lakukan segala sesuatunya dengan benar, do the best.
Keempat, sukses tidak sendirian, maka carilah kawan dan teman yang punya visi tentang kesuksesan dan kebaikkan.

Kegiatan yang bertajuk Gerakan UNNES Salat Subuh Berjamaah (GUSJ) yang diimami oleh Dr Sulaiman MPd ini, turut hadir Wakil Rektor dan unsur pimpinan dilingkungan Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES).

Panitia kegiatan Isma menjelaskan, kegiatan kerohanian ini tidak hanya bagi mahasiswa yang beragama Islam. Bagi mahasiswa yang tidak beragama Islam, disediakan tempat beribadah dan kajian kerohanian sesuai dengan agama masing-masing.
