Jateng Tambah 2 Emas, 1 Perak, dan 1 Perunggu

Perjuangan tim renang Jawa Tengah tidak sia-sia, bahkan berbuah gemilang. Tak tanggung-tanggung, pada hari keempat Pekan Olahraga Mahasiswa Nasional (Pomnas) di Batam Kepulauan Riau, dari cabang ini berhasil didulang 2 emas, 1 perak, dan 1 perunggu.

Belum diketahui pasti, apakah dengan hasil itu Jawa Tengah berhasil menggeser Jakarta yang sebelumnya berada di peringkat pertama. Sebab, hingga kemarin malam, kedua provinsi itu hanya selisih satu emas. DKI Jakarta mendapatkan delapan emas, sedangkan Jateng memperoleh tujuh emas.

Sebagaimana laporan reporter unnes.ac.id Sihono dari Batam, tujuh medali medali sebelumnya itu diperoleh dari cabang atletik 10.000 meter putra. Dengan demikian, hingga siang ini Jawa Tengah memperoleh 9 emas dan 6 perak, dan 1 perunggu.

Sebagaimana diberitakan sebelumnya, medali emas dari cabang olahraga atletik 10.000 meter putri (pi) atas nama Novita Andriyani, Yoharisdiyanto (tolak peluru pa), Veronika Ayu (400m pi), Komaruddin (lompat tinggi pa). Renang Andika Surya Adhi (200 m gaya bebas pa), Sapto Nugroho (200m ganti perorangan pa), Estafet 4 x 100 m pa (Christian Pandu P, Angga WidyaP, Sapto Nugroho, dan AndikaSurya A).

Medali perak dari cabor Catur kilat regu pa (Trima M, Yudianto, Agam Saeful I, Galih Eguh P), catur kilat regu pi (Riris Trima D, Triyani Budi L, Anteng S, Sulung W), Larisa Perdana Alam (lompat tinggi pi), Haryanto (lari 5.000 m pa), Christian Pandu P ( renang 50 m gaya kupu-kupu), dan pagi ini Selasa (20/9) lari 10,000 m pa diperolah Haryono.

Ketua kontingen Jateng Drs Tri Rustiadi MKes mengatakan, pihaknya terus secara intensif mengevaluasi perkembangan tim. “Badan Pembina Olahraga Mahasiswa Indonesia (BAPOMI) Provinsi Jateng setiap malam mengadakan koordinasi untuk evaluasi hari berikutnya sehingga dapat memantapkan kondisi atlet dalam persiapan menghadapi lawan tanding berikutnya,” kata Tri Rustiadi.

Dia juga mengemukakan, kontingen Jateng menargetkan di posisi kedua seperti perolehan POMNAS di Palembang dua tahun lalu. “Namun kita berusaha keras untuk memduduki posisi yang terbaik.”

Pertandingan pada Selasa hari ini meliputi atletik final, bulutangkis final, renang final, catur babak III dan IV, pencak silat penyisihan, basket, futsal, sepak takraw, dan voli.
