Siswa dan Sekolah Harus Cermat Ikuti Proses SNMPTN

Sekolah dan siswa dihimbau supaya cermat dalam mengikuti proses Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN) 2015. Kecermatan diperlukan sejak sekolah mulai mengisi Pangkalan Data Sekolah dan Siswa (PDSS), verifikasi oleh siswa, dan pendaftaran oleh siswa.

Pembantu Dekan I Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Prof Haryono menegaskan hal itu saat menyosialisasikan SNMPTN kepada kepala sekolah se-Kabupaten Kendal, Jumat (6/2) di Aula SMK Negeri 4 Kendal.

“Kesalahan kecil yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dan mengabaikan sistem, berdampak siswa gagal mendaftar. Karenanya mekanisme ini perlu disampaikan kepada seluruh guru dan siswa di sekolah masing-masing,” tuturnya di hadapan ratusan peserta sosialisasi.

Prof Haryono mengungkapkan, sekolah yang siswanya diperbolehkan mengikuti SNMPTN adalah sekolah yang memiliki Nomor Pokok Sekolah Nasional (NPSN) dan mengikuti ujian nasional. Keikutsertaan sekolah untuk mengikuti seleksi nasional itu sangat bergantung dari keaktifan sekolah dan siswanya dalam mengikuti aturan yang ditetapkan panitia SNMPTN.

Sementara itu, Ketua Badan Pengembangan Teknologi dan Informasi (BPTIK) Unnes Sugiyanto MSi menambahkan, hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam pengisian PDSS, kepala Sekolah harus bertanggung jawab penuh atas pengisian PDSS. “Kejujuran sangat diharapkan dalam proses ini,” tegasnya.

Namun, lanjutnya, siswa diharuskan melakukan verifikasi data untuk mengonfirmasi bahwa data yang diisikan oleh kepala sekolah adalah benar. Jika siswa tidak melakukan verifikasi, secara otomatis data yang diisikan oleh Kepala Sekolah dianggap benar.

“Untuk itu, dalam mengisikan data di PDSS sekolah tidak terlalu dekat dengan penutupan, agar siswa memperoleh waktu yang cukup untuk verifikasi,” ujar Sugiyanto.

Adapun, siswa yang berhak mengikuti SNMPTN, kata Sugiyanto, adalah yang memiliki rekam jejak prestasi akademik di PDSS, mengikuti ujian nasional pada 2014 atau 2015, memiliki Nomor Induk Siswa Nasional (NISN) dan terdaftar di PDSS, serta memiliki nilai rapor semester 1 sampai semester 5 yang diisikan datanya ke PDSS.

Setiap siswa dapat memilih sebanyak-banyaknya tiga program studi di dua PTN dengan ketentuan di satu PTN memilih maksimal dua program studi. “Apabila memilih dua PTN, salah satunya harus berada di provinsi yang sama dengan asal sekolah, Jika memilih satu PTN dapat di mana saja,” papar Sugiyanto

Pengisian PDSS dimulai pada 22 Januari hingga 8 Maret 2015. Pendaftaran SNMPTN dilaksanakan pada 13 Februari hingga 15 Maret 2015. Adapun proses seleksi dilakukan pada 16 maret hingga 8 Mei 2015 dan hasilnya akan diumumkan pada 9 Mei 2015.

    Yang saya mau tanyakan, untuk mengikuti itu semua yang di input nilai di PDSS hanya siswa yang berminat masuk ke PTN atau siswa kelas XII keseluruhan? terim kasih.
