SBMPTN 2015, Unnes Sediakan 1.820 Kursi

Ujian Nasional (UN) tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dan sederajat baru saja berakhir. Namun, para siswa SMA belum sepenuhnya bisa bersantai. Pasalnya, bagi mereka yang ingin melanjutkan kuliah di Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN) harus mempersiapkan diri untuk mengikuti Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN).

Pendaftaran SBMPTN 2015 akan dimulai pada 11 Mei 2015. Untuk jalur penerimaan mahasiswa baru (maba) itu, Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menyediakan 1.820 kursi.

Berbeda dengan Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN), jalur penerimaan ini mengharuskan ujian tertulis yang harus diikuti oleh calon mahasiswa.

“SBMPTN merupakan seleksi secara nasional yang didasarkan pada ujian tulis dan ujian keterampilan, khusus bagi yang memilih program studi kelompok seni atau olahraga,” kata Kepala UPT Pusat Humas Unnes Bambang Priyonio, Senin (20/5).

Kuota tersebut, lanjutnya, merupakan bagian dari kuota keseluruhan penerimaan mahasiswa baru Unnes tahun ini, yakni 6160 kursi. Sebelumnya, 3.049 kursi diperebutkan melalui SNMPTN. Sedangkan 1280 sisanya tersedia bagi seleksi mandiri.

“Berbeda dari SNMPTN yang hanya untuk lulusan tahun ini, SBMPTN terbuka bagi lulusan SMA/MA/SMK tahun 2015, 2014, dan 2013. Biaya pendaftarannya masih sama dengan tahun lalu, yakni hanya Rp 100 ribu karena adanya subsidi dari pemerintah,” jelas Bambang sembari mengingatkan, bagi siswa lulusan 2013 dan 2014 harus sudah memiliki ijazah, bagi siswa lulusan 2015 telah memiliki surat keterangan lulus (SKL).

Lewat SBMPTN, pendaftar juga bisa memperebutkan beasiswa Bidikmisi. Program tersebut merupakan beasiswa penuh yang membuat penerimanya terbebas dari segala biaya kuliah selama delapan semester. Bahkan, mereka juga menerima bantuan biaya hidup Rp 600 ribu per bulan.

“Minimal 1.850 paket beasiswa Bidikmisi akan dikucurkan oleh Unnes tahun ini. Minimal sama dengan tahun lalu,” urai Bambang.

Pendaftaran SBMPTN akan dibuka mulai 11–29 Mei secara online, 9 Juni pelaksanaan ujian tertulis dan 10-11 Juni ujian keterampilan bagi peserta yang mengambil jurusan seni dan olahraga.

Setelah sebulan dari masa ujian tulis dan keterampilan, 9 Juli  hasil seleksi akan diumumkan tepatnya pukul 17.00 WIB. Jadi, jangan lupa cek laman SBMPTN untuk mengetahui hasilnya, “ Pungkas Bambang.
