Saratri Wilonoyodho Terima SK Profesor

Dosen Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Semarang (FT Unnes) Dr Ir Saratri Wilonoyodho menerima Surat Keputusan (SK) Profesor dari Menteri Riset Teknologi (Menristek) dan Pendidikan Tinggi.

Penyerahan oleh Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum didampingi Dekan FT Drs Muhammad Harlanu MPd, Pembantu Dekan, Kepala Biro, dan Kabag Kepegawaian, Kamis (7/5) di rektorat kampus Sekaran.

Prof Fathur Rokhman menyampaikan, pencapaian Guru Besar itu sebuah kemuliaan dicapai dengan prestasi, tekun, sabar, dan doa. Oleh karena itu pencapaian itu perlu disyukuri.

“SK Menteri ini diserahkan ke universitas, Menteri memberi amanah kepada Rektor Unnes untuk memberikan kepada yang bersangkutan,” kata Prof Fathur.

Setelah menerima SK ini yang bersangkutan menerima haknya sebagai Guru Besar diantaranya menggunakan gelar Guru Besar, menerima hak tunjangan fungsional, dan menerima hak anggota senat, namun nanti setelah dikukuhkan.

Perolehan Guru Besar bagi seorang dosen merupakan hal yang diidamkan karena bisa untuk promosi kepakaran, untuk reputasi kelembagaan, dan sebagai bagian uji publik.

Selain itu, kewajiban Guru Besar sangat berat yakni dalam kurun waktu tiga tahun harus menulis artikel di jurnal nasional, menulis buku ilmiah, dan menyampaikan gagasan diforum nasional/internasional.
