Sambut Ulang Tahun Emas, Unnes Gelar Green School Award se-Jateng dan DIY

Ada yang berbeda pada Green School Award (GSA) di tahun 2015 ini. Pada ulang tahunnya yang ke-50, Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menggelar GSA untuk tingkat Jawa Tengah dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.

Selain wilayah. pada tahun ke limanya ini, peserta GSA akan diperluas, meliputi SMP/MTs/sederajat dan SMA/SMK/MA/sederajat di dua provinsi tersebut.

Sangat mudah untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam SGA 2015. Sekolah dapat mengirimkan data dengan mengisi formulir survei online dalam laman http://gsa.unnes.ac.id.

Proses ini relatif sederhana dan tidak terlalu memakan waktu.. Jangka waktu untuk mengirimkan data melalui form online dilakukan pada 9 Februari-9 Maret 2015. Kemudian panitia akan menghitung skor untuk semua sekolah yang telah mengajukan data dan menerbitkan peringkat yang dihasilkan pada pertengahan maret tahun 2015.

Sekolah yang ikut berpartisipasi diminta untuk menyediakan data numerik pada sejumlah kriteria yang dapat memberikan gambaran tentang komitmen mereka terhadap kebijakan konservasi maupun ramah lingkungan.

Kriteria meliputi informasi dasar seperti kondisi fisik sekolah, baik secara spasial maupun dalam hal populasi, lokasi sekolah dan jumlah ruang hijau, dan juga informasi tentang penggunaan energi, transportasi, penggunaan air dan daur ulang dan pengolahan limbah.

Badan Pengembang Konservasi Unnes akan melakukan verifikasi data dengan melakukan kunjungan ke sekolah-sekolah yang telah masuk dalam kategori 10 besar. Pemenang akan diumumkan melalui website Unnes dan harian surat kabar.
