S3 Pendidikan Seni Unnes Terakreditasi B

Program Studi Doktor (S3) Pendidikan Seni Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) memperoleh akreditasi B. Akreditasi didapat berdasarkan penilaian tim Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN PT), belum lama ini.

Ketua Program Studi Prof Dr Tjetjep Rohendi Rohidi MA mengungkapkan hal itu di kampus Bendan Sampangan Semarang, Kamis (26/3). “Akreditasi yang didasarkan pada SK BAN PT nomor 037/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-SURV/D/II/2015 ini akan berlaku hingga 23 Juli 2019 mendatang,” kata profesor bidang ilmu antropologi yang buku-bukunya kerap menjadi rujukan utama para peneliti seni di Indonesia dan Malaysia ini.

Mantan Rektor STISI Bandung ini menyampaikan, raihan tersebut merupakan bukti akuntabilitas akademik program studi yang dikelolanya. “Sebagai program doktor pendidikan seni pertama dan hingga kini masih satu-satunya di republik ini, tanggung jawab yang mesti kami sangga sungguh tidak enteng,” kata penggagas forum ilmiah internasional berkala yang secara khusus membahas warisan Nusantara ini.

Dibuka semenjak 2012 lalu, Pendidikan Seni S3 Unnes telah menjadi medan perjumpaan intelektual bagi para pembelajar jenjang doktoral dari berbagai latar belakang, seperti seni rupa, musik, tari, sastra, drama, dan komunikasi. Di samping Prof Tjetjep, sejumlah pakar ternama di negeri ini juga terpasang sebagai pengajar/promotor, seperti  Prof Faruk (UGM), Prof Setiawan Sabana (ITB), Prof Bambang Sugiharto (kurator, Universitas Parahyangan), Prof Sofyan Salam (UNM), dan Prof Dharsono (ISI Solo), dan Prof Suminto A Sayuti (UNY).

Dia juga menyebutkan, S3 Pendidikan Seni membuka pendaftaran mahasiswa baru, baik untuk program beasiswa maupun nonbeasiswa, mulai 10 Maret  hingga 17 April 2015. Pendaftaran secara online di laman spmu.unnes.ac.id, sedangkan info lengkap bisa didapat pada laman pps.unnes.ac.id, terutama pada rubrik “Pendaftaran”.

  1. Salam, capaian akreditasi B untuk program studi S3 Pend. Seni (yang baru pertama berdiri di Indonsia) ini sungguh sangat membanggakan. Capaian ini dapat menunjukkan bukti kualitas dan kredibilitas Prodi sebagi lembaga akademik yang mencetak calon-calon doktor dengan bidang kepakaran pendidikan seni. Selamat kepada pimpinan prodi, tim pengisi borang, dan Jimintu PPs yg telah bekerja optimal. Semoga menjadi mativasi PPs Unnes untuk terus maju.
