RELONIKA UNNES Integrasikan Etnomatematika Museum Kereta Ambarawa untuk Tingkatkan HOTS

Pembelajaran matematika di era modern menuntut inovasi yang mampu menghadirkan pengalaman belajar yang lebih kontekstual dan bermakna bagi peserta didik. Upaya ini dilakukan dengan menghadirkan media pembelajaran yang memadukan budaya lokal, teknologi, dan pendekatan Problem Based Learning.

Salah satu sumber belajar yang memiliki potensi edukatif tinggi adalah Museum Kereta Api Ambarawa, cagar budaya yang sebelumnya dikenal sebagai Stasiun Willem I di Kabupaten Semarang. Museum ini menyediakan konteks nyata untuk mempelajari konsep matematika, terutama materi persamaan garis lurus yang dapat dipahami melalui pengukuran kecepatan, jarak, waktu tempuh, harga tiket, dan jalur rel.

Pemanfaatan konteks museum ini kemudian diwujudkan dalam sebuah inovasi pembelajaran bernama RELONIKA, integrasi etnomatematika Museum Kereta Api Ambarawa dalam bentuk web-game dan worksheet interaktif berbasis Problem Based Learning. Melalui RELONIKA, peserta didik tidak hanya belajar konsep matematika secara abstrak, tetapi juga diajak menelusuri nilai historis dan kearifan lokal yang tampak pada bangunan, rel, dan sistem mekanik lokomotif uap.

Aktivitas pembelajaran dalam RELONIKA disusun melalui kombinasi narasi sejarah, tantangan pemecahan masalah, dan simulasi berbasis data nyata yang memperkaya pengalaman belajar. Pendekatan ini menjadikan pembelajaran lebih kontekstual dan mendukung pengembangan higher order thinking skills peserta didik.

RELONIKA menjadi contoh konkret penerapan etnomatematika yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan era digital dan sejalan dengan konsep deep learning yang menekankan pembelajaran mindful, meaningful, dan joyful.

Inovasi RELONIKA dikembangkan oleh civitas Prodi Sarjana Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), yang beranggotakan Ajeng Fatika Sari, Mustika Nur Hasanah, Nurul Hidayati, dan Sabrina Aprilia.

Pengembangan ini dilakukan di bawah bimbingan Ibu Dr. Nuriana Rachmani Dewi (Nino Adhi), S.Pd., M.Pd., yang turut mengarahkan integrasi budaya lokal dalam media pembelajaran digital.

Inovasi ini diharapkan dapat menginspirasi pendidik untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal yang interaktif, relevan, dan berorientasi pada kompetensi abad ke-21.
