Rektor: Yen Pengin Pinter, Nulisa!

Sesiapa pun yang ingin pintar hendaknya menulis. Sundhula langit yen ora nulis, ora bakal isa pinter.

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo mengungkapkan hal itu, ketika membuka seminar Internasional “Melacak Jejak Indonesia: Gugatan Pramoedya Ananta Toer”, Rabu (1/2) di dekanat Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) Unnes.

Pembicara dalam seminar adalah Ketua Departemen Malay-Indonesia Studies HUFS Korea Prof Koh Young Hun, sastrawan Universitas Indonesia Maman S Mahayana, dan dosen Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Unnes, Mukh Doyin.

“Nama besar Pram (sapaan akrab Pramoedya Ananta Toer), tak lepas dari kegigihannya menulis hingga akhir hayat. Dengan menulis, manusia akan mengukir sejarah dan mencatatkan diri sebagai orang yang berpengaruh,” tandas Prof Sudijono.

Rektor juga mengatakan, janganlah selalu bernostalgia dengan kebesaran nama dan karya besar orang terdahulu, tanpa diimbangi dengan upaya kaderisasi. “Di mana generasi terkini bangsa ini? Adakah generasi setelah Pram?” kata Rektor seraya membangkitkan semangat.

Mukh Doyin dalam paparannya mengungkapkan, semua tokoh yang diciptakan Pram menggugat dengan keberaniannya. “Bahkan dalam kehidupan nyata, keberanian di matanya tampaknya juga menjadi kunci majunya seseorang,” ujarnya.

“Pram pernah mengemukakan hal ini: Menulis itu sendirian. Memutuskan sendirian, berjalan sendirian di rimba belantara, nggak ada petunjuk. Semua ditanggung termasuk konsekuensinya,” kata Doyin.

Maman S Mahayana mengungkapkan, secara keseluruhan semua artikel Pram yang muncul pada paruh pertama 1950-an menunjukkan pemikirannya tentang pentingnya kebebasan berkreasi bagi seniman. “Dia banyak mengkritik bahaya seni yang menjadi alat politik dan kepentingan penguasa,” katanya.

    siap prof……tapi kalau di suruh memilih antara menulis atau mroyek…. mahasiswa2 atau dosen2 akan pilih yang mana ya? ……. yang satu bisa bikin penter yang satu lagi bisa bikin “pinter”…..he he he….mungkin perlu ada polling….

    saya juga baru semangat nulis Pak rektor, tapi sayang, semangat untuk berkarya baru muncul semester tua,, tp tetap membara semangatnya, semoga paling tidak bisa meneladani “Pram” yang telah ada.
