Rektor UNNES Resmikan Monumen Konservasi Pancasila

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum meresmikan Monumen Konservasi Pancasila yang menjadi landmark baru UNNES. Monumen Konservasi Pancasila divisualkan dalam bentuk burung garuda yang berdiri dengan gagah.

Menurut Prof Fathur Monumen Konservasi Pancasila memiliki nilai simbolik. Dari sisi visual monumen tersebut bewujud gambaran burung garuda yang mengepakkan sayapnya di atas bola dunia. Visualisasi ini menunjukkan tekad dan komitmen UNNES untuk meneguhkan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam praktik kehidupan bersama sebagai masyarakat akademik yang berwawasan internasional.

“Monumen Konservasi Pancasila itu menggambarkan tekad kita untuk meneguhkan Pancasila sebagai ideologi pendidikan kita yang akan membawa UNNES bertumbuh. Sebagai masyarakat akademik kita bertekad menjadikan nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai inspirasi berkarya melaksanakan tri dharma perguruan tinggi. Dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila pula kita akan mencapai kemajuan sebagai universitas bereputasi dunia,” jelas Prof Fathur.

Selain itu, Rektor UNNES juga mengatakan Pancasila sebagai dasar negara sekaligus landasan filosofis bangsa adalah anugerah yang Tuhan berikan, Selasa (16/11).

“Pancasila adalah anugerah yang indah karena telah terbukti membawa bangsa kita mencapai kemajuan seperti saat ini. Berkat Pancasila, bangsa kita yang beragam latar belakang dan kebudayaannya tetap bersatu dan terus bertumbuh menjadi bangsa yang maju. Anugerah indah dalam bentuk Pancasila inilah yang sangat kita syukuri. Dan salah satu bentuk rasa syukur kita adalah dengan meneguhkan nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai bagian integral dalam kehidupan kita sebagai masyarakat akademik,” jelasnya.

Sementara itu, Untoro Nugroho ST MT Kepala Unit Layanan Pengadaan UNNES menyampaikan Momentum ini dibangun untuk menunjukkan komitmen UNNES terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila dan menunjukkan komitmen UNNES untuk mengkonervasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam gerak langkahnya.

Untoro menambahkan, Monumen ini teridir atas 2 bagian penting: 1 Penopang yang berisi sila-sila Pancasila, 2 Patung Garuda Pancasila berdiri dan menggenggam dunia.

“Kita berharap patung ini menggambarkan gerak UNNES ke depan untuk bertopang kepada Pancasila, menggenggam dunia namun jati diri bangsa yang tergambarkan dengan burung garuda menjadi utama,” jelasnya.
