Institut Karate-Do Indinesia (INKAI) memberikan Anugerah Sabuk Hitam Kehormatan Kepada Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang Prof Fathur Rokhman MHum di gedung Honbu Dojo INKAI, Jumat (15/4).

Penganugerahan sabuk kehormatan karate INKAI di diberikan langsung oleh Pendiri INKAI dr Nico A Lumenta MM didampingi Ketua Umum Laksamana Muda TNI Dr Ivan Yulivan SE MM (Han) pada rangkaian Dies Natalis INKAI ke-51.

Ketua INKAI Dr Ivan Yulivan mengatakan pemberian sabuk hitam kepada Prof Fathur merupakan hasil Rapat Koordinasi Pengurus Pusat INKAI dan Dewan Guru INKAI.

Ia menambahkan, Prof Fathur Rokhman dikenal memiliki latar belakang beladiri Karate-Do Perguruan INKAI.

Dr Ivan Yulivan menjelaskan, sebagai Rektor Prof Fathur berkontribusi serta berjasa besar atas perkembangan dalam membentuk karakter sumber daya manusia melalui Karate-Do perguruan INKAI.

“Oleh karena itu, pengurus Pusat INKAI memberikan Penganugerahan Sabuk Hitam DAN 5 Kehormatan INKAI kepada Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman, selaku Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang,” jelasnya.

Sementara itu, Rektor UNNES Prof Fathur Rokhman menyampaikan apresiasi dan terima kasih atas pemberian sabuk hitam kehormatan karate INKAI.

“Ini merupakan kepercayaan yang luar biasa yang diberikan kepada saya,” kata Prof Fathur.

Prof Fathur menjelaskan INKAI adalah salah satu perguruan karate tertua dan terbanyak di Indonesia. INKAI telah memiliki nama besar dan mencetak atlet berprestasi dalam berbagai even baik skala Nasional maupun global.

“INKAI adalah organisasi besar untuk semua. INKAI dibangun demi kepentingan bersama serta sebagai wadah untuk membangun karakter generasi bangsa yang tangguh melalui latihan karate. Oleh karenanya perlu kesungguhan, komitmen dan konsistensi bersama. Melalui program kegiatan yang tepat sasaran dan tepat guna, serta komitmen dan konsistensi dari semua anggotanya, INKAI makin berjaya dan tetap terpeliharanya kemurnian akan filosofi Karate yang menjunjung tinggi prinsip-prinsip kejujuran kebenaran dan keadilan,” jelas Prof Fathur.
