Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman Dukung Penuh Implementasi Desain Besar Olahraga Nasional

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman Mhum mendukung penuh implementasi Desain Besar Olahraga Nasional (DBON). Hal tersebut disampiakan Prof Fathur Rokhman saat mengunjungi Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga Republik Indonesia (Menpora RI), Dr H Zainudin Amali SE MSi Jumat (7/1).

Selain itu, Prof Fathur menyampaikan apresiasi dan terimakasih kepada Menpora Amali yang telah melibatkan perguruan tinggi khususnya UNNES dalam penyusunan rancangan DBON sebelum lahirnya Perpres nomor 86 tahun 2021.

“Kami datang menyampaikan ucapan terimakasih. Karena pak menteri ini sangat terbuka kepada seluruh perguruan tinggi di Indonesia dan khususnya UNNES ini ikut mengambil bagian dalam penyusunan RPP dan sekarang menjadi Peraturan Pemerintah atau Perpres,” katanya.

Prof Fathur berharap dengan adanya DBON, olahraga prestasi di Indonesia makin maju dan juga kapasitas serya kebugaran masyarakat makin tinggi.

“Kami berkomitmen untuk ikut mengimplementasikan menajdi bagian dari apa yang sudah digagas oleh Pak Menteri. Dan harapannya tahun 2022 ini kerjasama yang sudah dilakukan dengan sangat bagus oleh Pak Menteri bersama peguruan tinggi ini bisa terus berjalan,” tegasnya.

Dalam kesempatan ini, Menpora Dr H Zainudin Amali juga mengapresiasi kegiatan dan rencana program UNNES tahun 2022 terkait keolahragaan khususnya tentang dukungan terhadap implementasi Desain Besar Olahraga Nasional sebagai perwujudan Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) Nomor 86 tahun 2021.

“Karena Perpres nomor 86 tahun 2021 tentang Desain Besar Olahraga Nasional akan jalan dengan baik di daerah-daerah terutama di 10 sentra yang ada kalau dukungan perguruan tingginya nyata,” kata Menpora.

Menurut Menpora, Jawa Tengah menjadi salah satu dari 10 sentra yang ditetapkan di dalam DBON.

Dengan demikian, Menpora berharap UNNES dapat menjadi yang terdepan dalam implementasi DBON di Jawa Tengah.

“Mudahan tahun 2022 khususnya di Jateng, UNNES akan menjadi yang terdepan untuk implementasi DBON,” harapnya.

Dalam pertemuan ini, turut dihadiri Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK UNNES) Prof Dr Tandiyo Rahayu MPd dan Wakil Dekan II FIK UNNES, Dr Taufik Hidayat Mkes dan Deputi Bidang Peningkatan Prestasi Olahraga Kemenpora Chandra Bhakti.
