Rektor Unnes Pertahankan Pelajaran Bahasa Jawa

Makin banyaknya isu yang simpang siur mengenai pembelajaran bahasa Jawa yang bakal dilesapkan ke dalam muatan lokal (Mulok) Seni dan Budaya, membuat para guru bahasa Jawa kian resah.

“Sebelum ada perubahan dan pengesahan, kebijakan lama tetap dijalankan,” ujar Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Prof Dr Sudijono Sastroatmodjo MSi, saat membuka Seminar “Basa Jawa ing  Kurikulum 2013”, Kamis (4/4), di Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Unnes.

Sudijono mengatakan, pemerintah melalui Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan menyatakan tak ada niatan sedikit pun untuk menghilangkan bahasa daerah. “Pada dasarnya Mulok diatur sendiri oleh daerah karena instansi inilah yang lebih mengerti kebutuhan pembelajaran di wilayahnya,” katanya di hadapan tidak kurang dari 500 guru dan mahasiswa.

Maka dari itu, menurut Sudijono, kebutuhan guru bahasa Jawa di Jawa Tengah sangatlah tinggi. “Sekarang, sewindu setelah bahasa Jawa diajarkan berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Gubernur tahun 2005, pelajaran yang banyak mengajarkan budi pekerti luhur ini harus selalu dibenerke jika salah dan dijangkepi bila ada yang kurang,” kata Sudijono.

Mengawal

Pada kesempatan yang sama, Ketua Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa Yusro Edy Nugroho menyatakan bersedia mewadahi aspirasi para guru bahasa Jawa. “Lembaga pendidikan tinggi yang telah mencetak sarjana pendidikan merasa punya tanggung jawab moral, tidak hanya meluluskan dan membekali mahasiswa, tetapi juga mengawal peraturan dan selalu memberi masukan kepada para pemangku kepentingan,” ujar Yusro.

Dalam materinya, dosen dan peneliti bahasa Jawa dari Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta Prof Dr Suwarna MPd meneguhkan betapa bahasa Jawa adalah sarana paling efisien untuk mengajarkan pembelajaran karakter. Sedangkan dosen Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa FBS Unnes Dr Teguh Supriyanto menyatakan pentingnya pembelajaran yang aplikatif. “Pada kenyataannya, anak didik sekarang tidak lepas dari kebiasaan konsumerisme dan hal serba populer, bahasa Jawa harus mengikuti arus itu agar mereka tidak merasa asing,” katanya.

    siiip… luar biasa UNNES, keberlangsungan pelajaran bahasa jawa memang sangatlah urgen, anak anak kita, penerus bangsa ini dituntut tidak hanya harus pinter bahasa Indonesia, english, tapi harus pandai bahasa jawa. dengan bahasalah kita akan tahu, paham dan mengerti khanasah ilmu. lan kasuyatan kawulo wong jowo asli saking purworejo mawon kok yoo… mboten saged boso jowo….. isone namung sekedik sekedik… weleh weleh… piye jal sopo sing salah????
