Rektor Unnes Didapuk Jadi Anutan Wajib Pajak

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum menjadi wajib pajak anutan yang hadir untuk langsung menyampaikan Surat Pemberitahuan Tahuan (SPT) Pajak Penghasilan (PPh) Tahun pajak 2013 melalui e-filling, Rabu (19/3), di Gradhika Bhakti Praja Jalan Pahlawan Semarang. Rektor Institut Agama Islam Negeri Semarang Prof Muhibbin dan beberapa kepala dinas setingkat eselon I di Jawa Tengah didapuk untuk hal yang sama.

Saat ini dari 5.000 badan usaha di Indonesia, hanya 500 badan usaha yang membayar pajak, sehingga tercatat badan usaha yang membayar pajak hanya 11%, padahal pajak merupakan andalan pendapatan negara tertinggi.

Gubernur Jawa Tengah Ganjar Pranowo SH mengatakan, andalan pendapatan negara terbesar dari pajak, dan kenyataannya kesadaran akan membayar dan melaporkan pajak masih rendah, yakni mencapai 11%. “Masyarakat untuk mencapai titik kesadaran membayar pajak masih seperti petak umpet, perlu restrukturisasi dan reformasi perpajakan. Ini harus dibangun langsung oleh presiden,” ujarnya.

Ganjar juga mengajak untuk memperbaiki negeri ini lewat pajak. “Tahun ini kita bangkitkan kesadaran membayar pajak,” katanya.

“Jika DKI Jakarta bisa mendapatkan Rp31 triliun dari pajak, semestinya Jawa Tengah paling tidak memperoleh Rp5 triliun
pendapatan dari pajak,” ungkapnya.

Lebih lanjut dia mengapresiasi acara ini, apabila penerapan e-filling mampu meningkatkan dan memudahkan masyarakat dalam membayar dan melaporkan pajak, maka peradaban dan pemerintahan akan lebih baik.

Dengan sosialisasi e-filling, masyarakat tahu, setelah tahu ingin melakukan, akhirnya timbul kesadaran membayar pajak, dan apalagi aplikasi ini lebih mudah dan dapat menjangkau seluruh pelosok Indonesia.
