Rektor: Terima Kasih, Bank Mandiri!

Sebanyak 700 sepeda diserahkan oleh Bank Mandiri kepada Unnes, Sabtu (6/11), di kampus Sekaran. Disaksikan Sekjen Kemendiknas Dodi Nandika dan ribuan mahasiswa Unnes yang memenuhi auditorium kampus Sekaran, Direktur Commercial & Business Banking Bank Mandiri Sunarso menyerahkan bantuan itu kepada Rektor Sudijono Sastroatmodjo.

Sebelumnya, Sekjen Kemendiknas, direksi bank tersebut, jajaran pimpinan Unnes, mahasiswa, karyawan, dosen, dan komunitas penggemar sepeda universitas konservasi ini bersepeda mengelilingi kampus.

“Tujuh ratus sepeda ini merupakan wujud dukungan Bank Mandiri bagi program green internal transportation system yang dicanangkan Unnes,” kata Sunarso saat memberikan sambutan.

Sunarso juga mengemukakan, Unnes dengan mahasiswa lebih dari 25.000 orang serta dosen dan karyawan tak kurang dari 1.500 orang merupakan nilai tersendiri, bukan hanya bagi Bank andiri, melainkan juga bagi dunia pendidikan. “Lebih-lebih setelah 11 Mei 2010 ditandatangani perjanjian kerja sama antara Bank andiri dan Unnes. Unnes telah memercayai Mandiri untuk mendukung pengelolaan keuangannya,”  katanya.

Saat memberikan sambutan, Rektor mengatakan, 700 sepeda dari Bank Mandiri merupakan dukungan yang sangat berarti bagi Unnes untuk mewujudkan universitas konservasi, terutama realisasi transportasi yang ramah lingkungan. ”Untuk itu, atas nama keluarga besar Universitas Negeri Semarang, saya mengucapkan terima kasih dan apresiasi setinggi-tingginya kepada Bank Mandiri. Menjadi kewajiban Unnes untuk merawat dan menggunakan pemberian ini dengan sebaik-baiknya.”

Rektor juga mengatakan, realisasi bantuan tersebut juga tak lepas dari peran aktif Sekjen Kemendiknas Dodi Nandika. ”Karena itu, kepada Pak Dodi, Unnes juga mengucapkan terima kasih tak terhingga atas dukungan yang tak terhingga terhadap universitas konservasi. Apalagi tadi saya juga dengar bisik-bisik antara sesama alumni IPB, antara seniaor dan juniornya. Yang senior berkata, masak bantuan itu hanya sampai di sini. Yang junior pun menyahut, insya Allah kita teruskan,” katanya.

Senior yang dimaksud Rektor adalah Sekjen Kemendiknas Dodi Nandika, sedangkan juniornya Direktur Mandiri Sunarso. Maklumlah, keduanya sama-sama alumni Institut Pertanian Bogor.
