Rektor Serahkan Beasiswa Bidik Misi dan Sambut Pendaki Elbrush

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo menyerahkan biaya hidup kepada 450 mahasiswa penerima Beasiswa Bidik Misi Tahap I. Dalam acara yang berlangsung auditorium kampus Sekaran, Selasa (23/8), itu Rektor juga menyambut tim Mahapala yang 17 Agustus lalu berhasil mendaki puncak Eropa, Gunung Elbrush.

“Ke-450 penerima Bidik Misi Tahap I ini berasal dari tujuh provinsi. Terbanyak dari Jawa Tengah, yakni 434 orang,” kata Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Prof Masrukhi.

Prof Masrukhi juga melaporkan, tim pendaki Elbrush yang terdiri atas Mnikmaya Waskitojati, Ma’rifah, dan Miftakhul Ulum telah tiba di kampus Sekaran, Senin (22/8) malam.

Selama lebih kurang lima menit, audiens disuguhi tayangan yang menampilkan perjuangan ketiga mahaiswa Unnes itu mendaki puncak gunung berketinggian 5.642 meter di atas permukaan laut. Tampak pada tayangan itu, ketiga mahasiswa mengibarkan tiga bendera: Merah Putih, bendera Unnes, dan bendera Mahapala.

Saat memberikan arahan, Rektor menyampaikan apresianya terhadap perjuangan para mahasiswa tersebut. “Ucapan selamat juga saya sampaikan kepada 450 mahasiswa yang sore ini mendapatkan biaya hidup dari Beasiswa Bidik Misi,” katanya.

Rektor juga menjelaskan, selain 450 mahasiswa tersebut, Unnes sedang menyeleksi calon penerima Bidik Misi Tahap II untuk 1.000 mahasiswa baru.

    pak, untuk yg penerima bidik misi tahap II nanti di suruh tinggal di rusunawa jg apa tdk,,,? kalau tdk kan saya mau persiapan cari kos,,, mohon di jawab,,, trimakasih..

  4. Sebuah kebanggaan yang akan terasa dan tanggung jawab yang akan tertanam…ingat ini adalah awal dari sebuah perjuangan. dan perjuangan tidk akan pernah berakhir sampai kapanpun hanya berbeda mengenai apa yang kita perjuangkan.

    saya kemarin belum sempat mendaftar karena masih disibukkan dengan kegiatan okpt, sehingga telat untuk mendaftar.
