Rektor Boleh Ganti, Unnes Tetap Konservasi

Pimpinan Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) akan terus berganti, namun Unnes akan tetap menjadi universitas konservasi. Bukan saja karena konservasi sudah masuk dalam statuta, namun juga karena konservasi telah mendapat apresiasi luas dari masyarakat.

“Saudara sekalian tidak perlu khawatir. Siapa pun yang menggantikan saya, Unnes akan terus menjadi universitas konservasi. Di Indonesia, universitas konservasi hanya satu, yaitu di Unnes,” kata Rektor Sudijono Sastroatmodjo di depan 600 mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Unnes Tegal, Senin (18/3) kemarin.

Rektor menjawab kekhawatiran mahasiswa PGSD Tegal jika program konservasi tidak berkelanjutan. Pasalnya, dalam waktu dekat aka terjadi pergantian pimpinan.

“Siapa yang akan menggantikan Bapak? Apakah kalau Rektor berganti kita akan tetap menjadi universitas konservasi?” tanya Imron, salah seorang mahasiswa.

Diberitakan sebelumnya, Rektor Unnes Sudijono Sastroatmodjo akan mengundurkan diri dari jabatan sebagai rektor. Pengunduran pria kelahiran Pacitan ini terkait dengan pencalonannya sebagai Wakil Gubernur Jawa Tengah 2013-2018 bersama Gubernur petahana Bibit Waluyo. Setelah ditetapkan sebagai calon tetap, baik calon gubernur dan wakil gubernur disyaratkan harus melepas jabatan negeri yang diembannya.

Sudijono menjelaskan, pergantian Rektor telah diatur dalam statuta. Setelah ia resmi dinyatakan mundur, jabatan Rektor akan dijabat pembantu Rektor Bidang Akademik sebagai pelaksana tugas. Selembat-lambatnya satu bulan, Senat Universitas mengusulkan empat pembantu rektor untuk ditetapkan sebagai rektor definitif hingga Desember 2014. Adapun penetapan dilakukan oleh Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan.

    Jngan hanya program konservasi saja, modernisasikan alat lab, penambahan central building untuk penelitian berbagai prodi, buka program S2 dan S3 murni. Satukan para alumni dalam 1 wadah yg aktif tentunya, dan membentuk berbagai lembaga yg bermanfaat. Recruit alumni jadi tenaga pengajar . Tq alumni IKM.

    Semoga setelah UNNES menjadi satu-satunya universitas konservasi Di Indonesia. Nantipun Jawa Tengah juga menjadi satu-satunya Provinsi Konservasi Di Indonesia. Transportasi masal yang nyaman, di berbagai daerah, Penataan pusat keramaian seperti pusat perbelanjaan/pasar yang sesuai dengan tata kota yang baik, terbukanya lapangan pekerjaan di daerah sehingga arus urbanisasi tidak terlalu tinggi. Terwujudnya aliran sungai yang bersih, pengelolaan TPA terintegrasi dengan pengolahan limbah modern, dsb……..
