Rebutkan Piala Rektor, UNNES Gelar Pemilihan Duta Literasi 2025

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) melalui UPT Perpustakaan menyelenggarakan Grand Final Pemilihan Duta Literasi UNNES 2025 yang memperebutkan Piala Rektor di Rumah Ilmu UNNES, Selasa (14/10/2025). Ajang ini menjadi apresiasi dan advokasi budaya literasi di kalangan mahasiswa, sekaligus mendorong lahirnya program-program kampanye baca tulis, literasi digital, serta penguatan ekosistem pengetahuan di kampus dan masyarakat.

Kegiatan puncak menampilkan finalis terbaik yang sebelumnya lolos tahapan kurasi mulai seleksi administrasi, asesmen pengetahuan literasi, penilaian konten kampanye, hingga presentasi rencana kerja. Pemenang ditetapkan untuk kategori Putra dan Putri Duta Literasi, serta diumumkan pula Duta Baca UNNES 2025 sebagai mitra strategis Rumah Ilmu dalam memperluas jangkauan program literasi.

Wakil Rektor I UNNES Prof. Dr. Zaenuri, M.Si., Akt. menegaskan pentingnya adanya peningkatan kualitas literasi mahasiswa.

“Literasi yang kuat adalah fondasi prestasi akademik dan kebermanfaatan sosial. Mahasiswa UNNES harus unggul membaca, menulis, menilai informasi, dan memproduksi pengetahuan. Itu yang akan menopang kinerja perkuliahan, riset, KKN, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat,” tegasnya.

Sementara itu, Kepala UPT Perpustakaan UNNES Prof. Dr. Sungkowo Edy Mulyono, S.Pd., M.Si. mengatakan bahwa para Duta akan didampingi untuk mengeksekusi program kerja nyata.

“Mulai dari kelas literasi informasi dan fact-checking, klub baca tematik lintas prodi, hingga lokakarya penulisan ilmiah populer, kami siapkan paket pendampingan agar gerakan literasi berdampak langsung bagi sivitas dan warga sekitar kampus,” pungkasnya.

Duta Literasi ini selaras dengan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan diantaranya ada Program memperkuat SDG 4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas) melalui peningkatan budaya baca–tulis dan kecakapan informasi/digital; mendorong inklusi kegiatan lintas fakultas/komunitas yang menopang SDG 10 (Pengurangan Kesenjangan); memperkuat ketahanan warga kampus terhadap disinformasi sebagai kontribusi SDG 16 (Perdamaian, Keadilan, dan Kelembagaan Tangguh); serta membuka ruang kolaborasi antara perpustakaan, unit akademik, Ormawa, sekolah, komunitas, dan mitra eksternal yang mendukung SDG 17 (Kemitraan untuk Mencapai Tujuan).(Satria)
