Rabu, Pengukuhan Profesor Masrukhi

Prof Dr Masrukhi MPd akan dikukuhkan sebagai guru besar bidang Pendidikan Moral, Rabu 28 September 2011, di auditorium  kampus Sekaran. Dosen Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) ini juga kini menjabat Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Unnes.

Prof Masrukhi akan membacakan orasi “Membangun Karakter Mahasiswa Berbasis Nilai-nilai Konservasi”. Orasi tersebut berangkat dari data yang menunjukkan, 90% mahasiswa cenderung berada pada kelompok rekreatif. Kelompok ini ditengarai berorientasi pada gaya hidup yang glamour dan menyukai pesta.

“Proporsi itu jauh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan empat kelompok lain, yakni  kelompok idealis konfrontatif, kelompok idealis realistis, kelompok oportunis, dan kelompok profesional, yang lebih berorientasi pada belajar atau kuliah,” kata lelaki kelahiran Tegal 8 Mei 1962 ini.

Kendati kelompok idealis persentasenya kecil dibandingkan dengan kelompok lain, lanjut dia, secara bersama-sama mereka memiliki energi besar, yang disebut collective consciousness.

“Collective conscious adalah  kesadaran bersama di kalangan para mahasiswa yang digerakkan oleh rasa simpati bahwa mereka harus bersatu-padu. Energi besar ini yang menyebabkan betapa gagasan dan opini yang semula hanya dimiliki sekelompok kecil mahasiswa, dalam waktu yang cepat menjadi gagasan dan opini bersama seluruh mahasiswa,” katanya.

Apa yang mesti dilakukan dengan potensi tersebut? Dari mana memulainya? Bagaimana pula nilai-nilai konservasi didayagunakan untuk membangun karakter mahasiswa? Prof Masrukhi akan memaparkannya di depan Senat Universitas, para undangan, dan segenap civitas akademika.

    Selamat dan sukses Prof Masrukhi…semoga mahasiswa UNNES makin berkarakter dan UNNES makin jaya. Semoga pada kegiatan PPA dan OKPT Tahun Akademik 2012/2013 makin mantap dengan materi Karakter Mahasiswa berbasis Nilai-nilai Konservasi sebagai materi pokok yang wajib dikuasai mahasiswa.
