Pustakawan Juga Harus Menulis

Menulis termasuk dalam unsur utama pada kelompok pengembangan profesi dan merupakan tugas utama pustakawan semua jenjang.

Ketua Panitia Workshop Penulisan Artikel Ilmiah untuk Pustakawan Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Mahargjo mengemukakan hal itu  pada wrokshop yang diselenggarakan Senin (16/7) di ruang LP2M gedung G Unnes. Kegiatan diikuti oleh pustakawan dan petugas atau pengelola Perpustakaan Jurusan di Unnes.

Pada pejabat fungsional, kenaikan jabatannya menggunakan sitem perolehan angka kredit (credit point). Namun butir kegiatan kepustakawanan hanya mendapat imbalan kredit yang relatif kecil. Sehubungan dengan hal ini, pustakawan perlu pula dibekali dengan pengetahuan tentang bagaimana menyampaikan atau menyebarluaskan tulisannya melalui media elektronik.

“Literatur sebanyak-banyaknya, entah berupa buku, artikel dalam jurnal atau majalah, surat kabar, dan penelusuran melalui internet merupakan langkah nyata untuk memperoleh wawasan ihwal masalah yang hendak ditulis,” paparan pustakawan sekaligus narasumber, Edy Pranoto.

Selain itu materi mengenai penulisan di media elektronik dikupas tuntas oleh Kepala UPT Perpustakaan Unnes, Sutikno. “Bekal menulis di media cetak maupun elektronik menjadi tujuan kami dalam melaksanakan workshop ini dan pustakawan harus menulis” tandas Mahargjo seraya menjelaskan, berdasarkan Petunjuk Pelaksanaan Jabatan Pustakawan dan Angka Kreditnya mulai dari  SK MENPAN Nomor 18/MENPAN/1988 sampai SK MENPAN Nomor 132/KEP/M.PAN/2002,  angka kredit terendah yang diperoleh melalui tulisan masih tetap lebih tinggi dari angka kredit yang diperoleh dari kegiatan lain.

    dari Pascasarjana kok gak ada undangan yaaa ?? sukses selalu buat temen2 pustakawan yang ada di UPT Perpustakaan dan juga temen2 di Perpustakaan Fakultas maupun jurusan,,, tetep semangaaaaatttt..!!!
