Guru Hebat, Dituntut Kreatif dan Inovatif

Pusat Pengembangan Pendidikan Profesi Guru (Pusbang PPG) Lembaga Pengembangan Pendidikan Profesi (LP3) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menyelenggarakan Seminar Nasional dengan tema “Aku Guru Hebat Apapun Kurikulumnya” di Gedung B6 Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) Unnes, Senin (26/1). Hadir sebagai narasumber Prof Suwarsih Madya PhD, Dr Toto Bintoro, dan Farida Fahmalatif SPd MPd.

Rektor Unnes Prof Fathur Rokhman menuturkan, guru mempunyai peran penting dalam membangun sebuah peradaban sebuah bangsa. “Waktu perang di Jepang semua masyarakatnya kocar kacir. Saat itu yang ditanyakan gurunya masih berapa, kenapa tidak ditanyakan yang lain. Hal tersebut dikarenakan guru hadir untuk membenahi pendidikan, supaya negaranya bisa bangkit kembali,” paparnya.

Guru Besar Universitas Negeri Yogyakara (UNY) yang juga mantan etase pendidikan Indonesia di Thailand, dan mantan Kepala Dinas Dikpora DIY Prof Suwarsih Madya PhD memaparkan, tugas mulia guru sebagai pendidik generasi muda untuk melanjutkan eksistensi bangsa. guru hebat yaitu guru yang memiliki kualifikasi dan kompetensi lebih daripada sekadar bagus atau memenuhi standar.

“Guru yang hebat merupakan guru yang mampu merancang, melaksanakan, dan menilai pembelajaran di manapun dan kapanpun mereka bertugas dengan fokus pengembangan seluruh potensi peserta didik menjadi insan sejati dalam konteks yang ada. Untuk menjadi guru yang hebat harus mendidik dengan niat sebagai Ibadah, memperkokoh kepribadian, meningkatkan kompetensi secara kontinyu dengan memahami konteks secara menyeluruh,” katanya.

Kurikulum akan berubah secara dinamis seiring dengan perubahan situasi sosial, budaya, teknologi dan politik, tetapi tugas guru tetap yaitu memastikan peserta didik tumbuh kembang sesuai dengan potensi yang telah dianugerahkan Tuhan dalam situasi dan kondisi yang ada.

Guru berprestasi tingkat nasional 2014, Farida Fahmalatif SPd MPd yang menjadi narasumber pada sesi I menyarankan, agar perubahan kurikulum disikapi dengan bijak, sebagai proses menuju arah yang lebih baik. Guru mempunyai peran penting dalam keberhasilan generasi bangsa. Kepercayaan dan kenyakinan masyarakat menuntut guru mengembangkan kompetensi personal, sosial, pedagogik, dan professional. Kurikulum apapun, guru harus berprestasi dan menginspirasi.

Staf ahli Dikti, Dr Toto Bintoro dalam paparannya menyoroti permasalahan Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Keguruan (LPTK). Menurutnya terdapat tiga masalah dalam pendidikan, yaitu tidak semua LPTK terstandar, disparitas kualitas, dan over supply lulusan sarjana (S1). Perubahan mendasar yang harus dibenahi dalam kurikulum LPTK yaitu mempersiapkan pendidik melalui peningkatan kemampuan akademik dan sedini mungkin mengenalkan pada lapangan pendidikan serta mempersiapkan pendidik profesional melalui PPG.

    Guru yang hebat adalah guru yang tau bagai mana membuat siswa nya memahami apa yang ia sajikan.setiap kurikulum yang di terbitkan pasti tujuannya untuk kemajuan Pendidikan.
