Purnatugas, Tiga Profesor Dilepas Rektor

“Sesungguhnya Surat Keputusan (SK) purnatugas lah yang memisahkan kita, namun kesetiaan masih menyatukan kita di universitas tercinta ini.”

Prof Dr Astini Su’udi, menyampaikan kesan itu pada pelepasan tiga profesor Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) yang purnatugas di Kampus Sekaran Gunungpati, Rabu (5/11).

Memasuki masa pensiun, bagi saya tidak terlalu menggangu, “yang purna itu status PNS, bukan tugas saya. Sebagai manusia yang kebetulan dikaruniai ilmu pengetahuan, saya merasa tak patut berhenti membagikannya,” kata profesor kelahiran Madiun 8 Mei 1944 yang mengajar di Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Asing FBS Unnes sejak 1 November 1972 hingga sekarang.

Selain Prof Astini, Prof Dr Suparmin Dandan Supratman MPd dan , Prof Drs Mursid Saleh MA PhD juga ikut dilepas Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum.

Pada acara yang dihadiri Pembantu Rektor, Ketua dan beberapa anggota senat, serta beberapa pejabat Unnes itu, profesor Dandan menyampaikan beberapa harapan. Di antaranya, setelah purnatugas tetap diberi kesempatan berkomunikasi dengan Unnes. “Saya masih sering blusukan ke beberapa sekolahan untuk mengajar dan memberikan citra baik untuk Unnes yang telah membesarkan saya,” kata pengajar mata kuliah Metodologi Pengajaran pada Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FBS Unnes itu.

Adapun Prof Mursid Saleh akan terus melakukan blasakan, yaitu mengunjungi beberapa lembaga pendidikan untuk terus mengajar, “meski berusia lanjut, seseorang harus tetap memberikan apa yang ia punya untuk kemaslahatan sesama,”ujar profesor yang memiliki perhatian besar pada perilaku guru bahasa Inggris itu.

Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fatkhur Rohman MHum saat memberikan sambutan beberapa kali memuji kesetiaan begawan dari kampus sekaran itu. “Kesetiaan beliau pada Unnes tidak perlu diragukan lagi. Kecintaan mereka pada ilmu pengetahuan membuat mereka termuliakan,” tegasnya.

Selesai memberi sambutan, Rektor didampingi para pembantu rektor dan Ketua senat memberikan tanda mata, di antaranya cincin emas. “Ini semua sebagai perwujudan cinta kami kepada begawan kampus sekaran yang telah ikut membesarkan Unnes. Semoga diterima dengan senang hati, walau secara materi tidaklah seberapa,” ujar Rektor.

    luar biasa beliau ketiga Profesor Unnes ini, terima kasih sumbangsih ilmu dan pengalamnnya untuk kami generasi penerus…(Prof. Astni mulai mengabdi 1-11-1972 sampai 1-11-2014) berarti sudah 42 tahun…kalau karya satya lencana X, XX, XXX tahun..dan kalau XLII tahun berarti mendapat bintang ****
