PTN Wajib Penuhi Kuota Bidikmisi

Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Djoko Santoso menegaskan, perguruan tinggi negeri wajib memenuhi kuota beasiswa Bidikmisi yang ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Hal itu dikatakannya seusai membuka Kontes Robot Indonesia tingkat nasional di Sasana Budaya Ganesha, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Sabtu (30/6/2012).

Djoko mengatakan, kuota tersebut harus dipenuhi oleh PTN melalui jalur undangan dan tes tertulis Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN).

“Kalau juga belum terpenuhi, entah bagaimana caranya mereka harus mencari untuk bisa memenuhi kuotanya itu,” ujarnya.

Djoko meyakini, masing-masing PTN tidak akan mengalami kesulitan mencari calon mahasiswa berprestasi yang tidak mampu guna dibiayai dengan beasiswa Bidikmisi. Pada tahun 2012 ini, secara nasional Kemdikbud meluncurkan 30 ribu paket bebasiswa dalam program Bidikmisi bagi mahasiswa kurang mampu yang berprestasi untuk belajar di perguruan tinggi negeri.

Paket beasiswa itu terdiri atas biaya kuliah sebesar Rp 6 juta per semester selama 4 tahun dan biaya hidup sebesar Rp 600 ribu per bulan. Untuk PTN yang berlokasi di Bandung, Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) baru menerima 195 calon mahasiswa Bidik Misi dari kuota sebanyak 900 kursi. Rektor Unpad Ganjar Kurnia mengatakan sisa kursi untuk 705 orang akan dipenuhi dari ujian tertulis SNMPTN 2012 yang hasilnya diumumkan pada 7 Juli 2012. Adapun, ITB sampai saat ini telah mengisi 608 kursi program Bidikmisi melalui jalur undangan dari kuota keseluruhan sebanyak 800 kursi, dan Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Bandung telah mengisi 608 kursi program Bidik Misi 800 kursi yang dialokasikan.

Sementara itu, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) meminta tambahan kuota mahasiswa untuk Bidikmisi karena tinggal 10 kursi tersisa dari 600 kursi yang dialokasikan. UPI telah mengisi 590 kursi Bidikmisi melalui jalur undangan dan tinggal 10 kursi tersisa untuk jalur tes tertulis SNMPTN.

Menanggapi permintaan tersebut, Djoko menyatakan permintaan tambahan kuota masih bisa dipenuhi selama kuota nasional masih tersedia. “Kalau sisa kuota total itu sudah tidak ada, maka permintaan tambahan kuota baru bisa dipenuhi tahun depan,” ujarnya. (Kompas.com).

    Apakah bidik missi di unnes sudah tepat sasaran ?
    Perlu ada evaluasi lebih lanjut, atau bahkan kalau memang perlu, harus di adakan survei lebih secara berkala.
