Prof Yahmo Tanamkan Nilai Pancasila pada Siswa SMA

Pakar filsafat Pancasila dari Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes), Prof Dr Suyahmo MSi, mengajarkan nilai filsafat Pancasila kepada siswa SMA N 1 Demak, Selasa (3/12).

Dia hadir untuk program Professor Go to School. Sebagaimana di sekolah lain, di sekolah itu program ini direspons positif oleh siswa dan guru. Bahkan mereka meminta Prof Yahmo, panggilan akrabnya, datang lagi ke sekolah.

Di hadapan 42 siswa, dia bertanya, “Pancasila adalah dasar terhadap negara Republik Indonesia (RI). Jika negara RI adalah rumah, maka dasarnya apa?”

Siswa pun menjawab, “Fondasi!  Pancasila!”

“Hebat!” puji Prof Yahmo kepada siswa yang berani menjawab dan benar itu.

Lagi, Prof Yahmo mengajukan pertanyaan. “Perbuatan jujur dan adil itu termasuk bela negara. Apakah perbuatan tidak jujur itu termasuk dalam bela negara?”

Seorang siswa menjawab, “Termasuk bela negara, Pak, jika untuk kepentingan negara. Maksudnya, dalam situasi atau kondisi tertentu, perbuatan tidak jujur pun termasuk bela negara.”

“Mengapa? Apa contohnya?” kejar Prof Yahmo.

“Contohnya sadap-menyadap. Itu merupakan perbuatan tidak benar. Namun kalau untuk kepentingan orang banyak, untuk negara, maka perbuatan tersebut dapat dibenarkan. Perbuatan itu dilakukan dalam konteks apa dulu, Pak. Kalau merugikan orang lain, itu bukan bela negara tetapi ketidakjujuran. Kalau sadap-menyadap itu dilakukan untuk kepentingan negara, maka termasuk bela negara,” jawab seorang siswa,

Pakar filsafat itu pun, mengangguk luar biasa, dengan senyum memberi hadiah.

Selain itu, Prof Yahmo juga menjelaskan dan bertanya kepada siswa terkait dengan dasar negara, Pancasila, logika dasar negara dan negara, bentuk pengamalan Pancasila, hubungan antara Pancasila, UUD 1945, NKRI, dan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, bela negara, hak dan kewajiban warga negara, serta korupsi.

Koordinator program Profesor Mengajar di Sekolah Ngabiyanto MSi pada saat yang bersamaan dia juga masuk ke kelas untuk berbicara mengenai Unnes Konservasi. Di hadapan 100-an siswa, dia menjelaskan dan mengenalkan gambaran konservasi yang telah dilaksanakan di Unnes.

Kepala Sekolah Suyanto MPd menyampaikan apresiasi atas pendampingan oleh profesor di sekolah ini.

  1. Prof Yahmo…. Saya menikmati sekali diajar beliau, meskipun sering ditutuk pake boardmarker gara-gara jawabannya ngalor ngidul… semoga selalu sehat dan terus berkarya 🙂
