Prof Sugiyo Bimbing Siswa SD Meraih Cita-Cita

Di tengah-tengah keasyikan siswa kelas IV A SD Islam Istiqomah Ungaran Semarang, pakar Bimbingan dan Konseling Prof Dr Sugiyo MSi memberikan motivasi meraih cita-cita dengan pembelajaran aktif, Kamis (5/12).

Profesor Bimbingan Konseling Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Semarang (FIP Unnes) ini menunjukkan kemahirannya mengolah topik pembelajaran di kelas tanpa pemberitahuan pada siswa sebelumnya.

“Apa yang harus dilakukan  untuk meraih cita-cita?”, tanyanya setelah mendengar beragam cita-cita siswa.

“Belajar,” kompak siswa menjawab dengan teriakan khas anak-anak.

Tak berhenti di situ, siswa diberikan pemahaman tentang bagaimana cara mereka untuk meraih cita-cita.

Sama halnya dengan kelas IV A, Prof Sugiyo juga tampil dikelas IV B tanpa pemberitahuan. Sontak riuh tepuk tangan siswa menyambut kedatangannya.

Menurut Muhajir, salah seorang guru SD Islam Istiqomah, program Professors Go To School mampu memberikan motivasi bagi siswa dalam memperoleh gambaran sosok seorang profesor.

“Selain itu, kehadiran Prof Sugiyo sangat membantu dalam mengatasi permasalahan penerapan Kurikulum 2013,” tambahnya.

Seusai mengajar, Prof Sugiyo bersama Kepala Sekolah  Maskur SPdI dan beberapa guru berdikusi mengenai kesulitan penerapan Kurikulum 2013. Penilaian bagi siswa SD dalam  Kurikulum 2013 memang menjadi kendala guru. Sebagian besar guru menyampaikan kesulitannya dalam memberikan penilaian rapot kepada siswa karena berbentuk deskriptif.

“Tidak ada patokan kalimat yang standar untuk memberikan nilai A bagi siswa,” kata Maskur SPdI dalam diskusi di ruang perpustakaan SDI Istiqomah.

“Seharusnya, memang  ada semacam kesepakatan antarguru minimal se-Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas Daerah mengenai penilaian tersebut,” ungkap Prof Sugiyo memberikan solusi dan berjanji akan menyampaikan permasalahan guru pada pihak terkait.
