58% Mahasiswa Unnes Terlibat Kegiatan Ilmiah

Unnes telah mendapat pendanaan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) terbanyak di Indonesia. Ini hal yang luar biasa. Unnes bukanlah perguruan tinggi yang besar namun bisa mengirimkan 3.000 lebih proposal.

Hal itu dikatakan Ketua Tim Monitoring dan Evaluasi (Monev) Direktorat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (Ditlitabmas) Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi (Ditjen Dikti) Prof Dr Jamasri, saat memberi pengarahan pada pembukaan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) 2012. Kegiatan dibuka oleh Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan (PR III) Prof Masrukhi di auditorium kampus Sekaran, Senin (14/5).

“Bisa dibayangkan kalau yang dikirim sebanyak 3.000 proposal, setiap proposal ditulis lima orang maka mahasiswa yang terlibat sebanyak 15.000 ribu, padahal jumlah mahasiswa kurang lebih 26.000. Artinya 58 persen mahasiswa Unnes terlibat dalam kegiatan ilmiah, inilah yang kita sebut dengan pengembangan akademik atmosfir,” kata Prof Jamasri.

Feri Adi MKom dari Ditlitabmas Dikti mengatakan, tahun ini merupakan tahun yang menggembirakan bahwa Unnes merupakan pendapat dana terbanyak se Indonesia proposal PKM yang didanai oleh Dikti yakni 654 proposal, disusul ITS 583, dan UGM 476 proposal. Untuk itu kami mereview selama tiga hari mulai Senin hingga Rabu (14-16/5) nonstop mulai pukul 08.00-20.00.

Ke-654 PKM yang di monev itu meliputi lima bidang yakni PKM-Kewirausahaan (PKM-K) sebanyak 292 judul, PKM Karsa Cipta (PKM-KC) 13 judul, PKM-Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM-M) 216 judul, PKM-Penelitian (PKM-P) 114 judul, dan PKM-Penerapan Teknologi (PKM-T) sebanyak 19 judul.

Tim reviewer monitoring dan evaluasi PKM 2012 adalah Prof Jamasri, Ir I Ketut Widyana, Dr Ir Pulung Nur Prasetyo, Hermanto MPd, Ir Anik M Hariati, Ir Sondi Kuswaryan, dan Ir H Sukardi.
