Presentasi Karya Ilmiah, Dua Mahasiswa Unnes Bertolak ke Jepang

Dua Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) diundang oleh Higher Education Forum (merupakan perkumpulan peneliti dan akademisi dari berbagai negara) untuk presentasi karya ilmiahnya, Senin-Rabu (20-22/7) 2015 di Sapporo, Jepang.

Mereka, Andika Eko Prasetiyo dari Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) dan Qurrota A’yun dari Jurusan Pendidikan IPA Terpadu Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA).

Andika dan Qurrota akan mempresentasikan karya ilmiah hasil penelitiannya terkait bisnis dan ilmu sosial dengan judul “Modernization in Puppet Creative Industry Based on Sociopreneurship to Reconstruct the National Identity Among Youth” dengan acara International Symposium on Business and Social Science (ISBSS) 2015.

Saat berpamitan dengan Pembantu Rektor Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerjasama Prof YL Sukestiyarno, Andika menyampaikan bahwa ketika di Jepang nanti, tim mempresentasikan hasil penelitian berupa pengembangan produk industri kreatif wayang yang telah dimodernisasi.

“Langkah ini sebagai bentuk kampanye cinta budaya, yang bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi identitas bangsa di kalangan pemuda,” kata Andika.

Menurut Andika, pada tahap awal, tim Unnes harus berkompetisi dengan ribuan artikel dari berbagai negara. “Alhamdulillah lolos dan dipanggil untuk presentasi pada acara ini,” tuturnya.

Andika juga menjelaskan, kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan tahunan. Tahun ini yakni ke empat diikuti dari peneliti, praktisi ahli dari industri, dan akademisi dari berbagai negara menyoroti berbagai gagasan tentang bisnis, ekonomi, manajemen, komunikasi, budaya, hukum, politik, dan ilmu sosial.

Selain diikuti oleh para peneliti pemula, acara ini juga akan dihadiri peneliti dan akademisi profesional. Keynote speech acara itu adalah profesor Jose G Vargas-Hernandez dari University Center for Economic and Managerial Science, University of Guadalajara, Mexico. Ia akan menyampaikan makalah berjudul “Strategic Thinking as a Critical Factor of Business Competitiveness”.

Prof Sukestiyarno menyampaikan agar Andika dan Qurota dapat memanfaatkan kesempatan itu untuk membangun jaringan keilmuan dengan mahasiswa dari berbagai negara. Menurutnya, pergaulan internasional sangat diperlukan di era globalisasi.

“Ada berbagai skema join research yang telah dikembangkan Unnes. Kesempatan ini terbuka bagi dosen dan mahasiswa,” katanya.
