PR III: PPL Kembangkan Empat Kompetensi Mahasiswa

Kalian akan belajar dari sekolah tempat Praktik Pengalanan Lapangan (PPL). Belajarlah mengembangkan empat kompetensi diri, yakni kompetansi profesional, pedagogik, sosial, dan kepribadian.

Demikian pesan Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan (PR III) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Prof Masrukhi saat melepas penerjunan 3.494 Mahasiswa untuk mengikuti PPL, Senin (30/7) di halaman rektorat kampus Sekaran.

“Selama tiga bulan mulai hari ini, Senin (30/7) sampai dengan tangal 20 Oktober 2012, kalian diterjunkan ke sekolah praktikan untuk PPL. Oleh karena itu ikutilah apa yang telah menjadi peraturan di sekolah kalian ber-PPL dan belajarlah banyak dari guru pamong serta seluruh keluarga besar yang ada di tempat kalian praktik,” katanya.

Prof Masruki juga mengatakan, karena sekolah itu nantinya lingkungan baru bagi mahasiswa praktik, diharap menjaga dengan baik kedisiplinan melaksanakan tugas, bertanggungjawab, kepedulian terhadap lingkungan sekitar, sopan santun, sehingga bisa berinteraksi dan belajar dengan sebaik-baiknya.

“Perilaku kalian mulai dari berpakaian, bersepatu, bahkan sampai potongan rambut pun akan dinilai oleh keluarga besar sekolah tempat kalian praktik. Untuk itu tunjukkan jati diri kalian sebagai calon pendidik, calon guru bersifat dewasa di dalam kelas nanti kalian dilihat, dinilai, dan diikuti oleh murid-murid ditempat kalian mengajar,” imbau PR III.

Prof Masrukhi menambahkan, jagalah almamater Universitas Konservasi. “Spirit-spirit dan jiwa konservasi tolong kalian kembangkan di sekolah masing-masing,” katanya.

Masugino MPd Kepala Pusat Pengembangan PPL melaporkan PPL semester gasal 2012-2013 diikuti 3.494 mahasiswa terdiri atas 3.413 mahasiswa program reguler dan 81 mahasiswa Madrasyah Education Development Project (MEDP). Mereka menyebar di tujuh fakultas yakni 597 mahasiswa dari Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP), FBS (756), FIS (398), FMIPA (513), FT (496), FIK (429), dan FE (305).

Dia juga mengatakan mahasiswa ini diterjunkan ke 228 sekolah mitra tingkat PAUD, SD, SMP, SMA, SMK, dan Sumber Kegiatan Belajar (SKB), berlokasi di 9 Kota/Kabupaten yakni di Kota Semarang sebanyak 109 sekolahan, Kabupaten Semarang (25), Kota Magelang (22), Kabupaten Magelang (8), Kota Pekalongan (10), Kota Tegal (12), Kota Salatiga (&), Kabupaten Kendal (20), dan Kabupaten Batang 15 sekolahan.

Pembekalan Micro Teaching dilaksanakan (16-21/7), di kampus Sekaran, PGSD Karanganyar Semarang, dan PGSD Tegal melibatkan 272 dosen. “Sedangkan pembekalan orientasi kampus (24-26/7) juga di tiga kampus itu,” kata Masugina.
