PPs Unnes Luluskan 9 Doktor dan 130 Magister

Program Pascasarjana (PPs) Universitas Negeri Semarang meluluskan 9 doktor dan 130 magister pada wisuda periode I tahun 2014. Mereka diharapkan dapat menguatkan Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI), memahami kompetensinya, mengembangkan keilmuannya sehingga berguna untuk masyarakat.

Direktur PPS Unnes Prof Dr Samsudi menyampaikan, doktor adalah tingkat akademik tertinggi yang memiliki amanah keilmuan yang spesifik. “Contoh seseorang yang menyandang Doktor tentu tidak sekedar mendapat ijazah doktor, akan tetapi mampu mengemban amanah sebagai ilmuwan yang mampu mengembangkan keilmuan, dan pemikirannya itu, berguna untuk masyarakat,” ujar Prof Samsudi, Rabu (26/2) di Hotel Patra Jasa Semarang.

Dengan penguatan KKNI, Prof Samsudi menuturkan, wisudawan memiliki kemampuan dalam mengubah cara melihat, berpikir dan memahami kompetensi, tidak lagi semata ijazah tapi mampu menguatkan kerangka kualifikasi sebagai dasar pengakuan terhadap hasil pendidikan seseorang.

Kaitannya dengan perkembangan PPs, ia mengemukakan, saat ini PPs Unnes memiliki 9 program studi doktor dan 18 program studi magister, untuk tahun akademik 2014/2015 ada 4 program studi baru yakni S3 pendidikan matematika, S3 pendidikan IPA, S2 kesehatan masyarakat dan S2 ilmu ekonomi.

“PPs Unnes akan konsisten dalam pengembangan LPTK dan tidak akan membuka program jarak jauh. Selain itu, bulan Maret dan Juni akan menyelenggarakan Seminar Nasional dan internasional akan mengkaji model publikasi magister dan doktor berbasis teknologi informasi,” tambahnya.

Menyandang predikat lulusan terbaik PPs Unnes yakni Sirajul Munir program studi (prodi) ilmu pendidikan bahasa S3 dengan IPK 3.97. Elysa Hartati prodi pendidikan bahasa inggris S2 IPK 4.00, Retma Sari prodi pendidikan bahasa inggris S2 IPK 4.00, diikuti Faridah prodi pendidikan ekonomi IPK 3.91, Siti Baroroh prodi pendidikan ilmu pengetahuan sosial S2 IPK 3.83.

Selain itu, lulusan terbaik prodi pendidikan olahraga S2, yakni Winarko dengan IPK 3.81, prodi bimbingan konseling S2 diraih Hastiani IPK3.81, prodi manajemen pendidikan S2 Teguh Hardi Raharjo IPK 3.79, selanjutnya Cahyati Riningsih dari prodi pendidikan seni S2 IPK3.76, Hadi Pranoto meriah IPK 3.76 juga dari pendidikan seni S2.

Sementara itu, prodi pendidikan bahasa indonesia disabet Ucik Fuadhiyah IPK 3.69, dan prodi pendidikan ilmu pengetahuan alam S2, diraih Joni Kurniawan IPK 3.69.

    Alhamdulillah dengan adanya 2 prodi baru pps yaitu ilmu ekonomi S2 dan kesehatan masyarakat S2 . Harapan saya semoga prodi pps rumpun ilmu murni ada di unnes walaupun status unnes sbg LPTK..
