PPL di Malaysia, Mahasiswa Unnes Jadi Duta Bangsa

Empat belas mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) akan praktik mengajar di Malaysia selama dua bulan, 11 Agustus sampai 10 oktober 2014. Mereka akan ditempatkan di tujuh sekolah di negeri jiran tersebut.

Ketujuh sekolah tersebut, antara lain SMAT Kuala Kubu Bharu, SMKA Slim River, NCDRC UPSI, SMK Khir Johari, SM Sains Tapah, MRSM Felda (Trolak), dan SK Proton City.

Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum menjelaskan, kegiatan ini diselengarakan atas kerja sama Unnes dengan dengan Universitas Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Malaysia dalam skema Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) Antarbangsa. Dengan skema itu, mahasiswa Unnes difasilitasi praktik mengajar di sekolah-sekolah mitra UPSI.

Rektor berharap agar mahasiswa memanfaatkan kesempatan ini sebagai sarana mengembangkan kemampuan pedagogik.

“Tunjukkan bahwa kalian sebagai mahasiswa yang selalu mempunyai sikap konservasi seperti jujur, santun, tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan religious,” katanya.

Ia juga mengingatkan, kehadiran mahasiswa di Malaysia bukan hanya mewakili Unnes, tapi juga menjadi duta bangsa.

“Kalian bukan hanya duta Unnes, tetapi menjadi duta Indonesia. Karena apa yang akan kalian perbuat di sana akan merepresentasikan masyarakat Indonesia, terutama calon guru Indonesia,” lanjutnya.

Keempat belas mahasiswa peserta PPL Antarbangsa adalah Boby Ardhian Nusantara (Bimbingan dan Konseling), Yunia Tiara Riski (PGSD), Afifah Nurul Azmi (PG PAUD), Najib Khumaidillah dan Lutfiana Ilma Annisa (Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris), dan Dwi Kananda Tyas Sulistyo (Pendidikan Seni Musik).

Selain itu, Anggun Fajar Anggraeni (Pendidikan Matematika), Chusnus Shalichah (Pendidikan Fisika), Heru Setiawan (Pendidikan Biologi), Adiska Rani Ditya Candra (Pendidikan Jasmani Kesehatan dan Rekreasi), Isnian Novarudin dan Sesaria Nisa Afifi (Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga), Yana Kusuma Andriani dan Cahyaning Budi Utami (Pendidikan Ekonomi/Akutansi).

Khusus kepada Isnian dan Sesaria tunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga juga memeliliki kompetensi sebagai guru “olahraga” di sekolah.
