4. Kelas Kerja Sama Rekognisi Pembelajaran Lampau (RPL)

Rekognisi Pembelajaran Lampau (RPL) adalah pengakuan atas capaian Pembelajaran seseorang yang diperoleh dari pendidikan formal, nonformal, atau informal, dan/atau pengalaman kerja sebagai dasar untuk melanjutkan pendidikan formal dan untuk melakukan penyetaraan dengan kualifikasi tertentu. Bagi pemerintah daerah, program RPL memiliki peran strategis untuk peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM).

Bagi pemerintah daerah, program RPL memiliki peran strategis untuk peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM). Mekanisme ini bisa menjadi peluang besar bagi pemerintah daerah
untuk meningkatkan kualifikasi pendidikan staf/pegawai di tingkat sarjana dan magister.

Terdapat dua tipe RPL:

  1. RPL tipe A : RPL untuk melanjutkan pendidikan formal. Individu yang pernah mengikuti pendidikan namun terhenti dapat diterima agar dapat melanjutkan pendidikan sampai selesai.
  2. RPL tipe B : RPL untuk mendapatkan pengakuan penyetaraan bagi individu yang memiliki pengalaman kerja, kompetensi, dan keahlian tertentu.
