Posdaya Binaan Unnes Maju ke Kompetisi Regional

Pos Pemberdayaan Keluarga (Posdaya) Sinar Mawar Desa Wonokerto, Desa Bencak, Kabupaten Semarang terpilih mewakili Kabupaten Semarang untuk mengikuti kompetisi di tingkat regional. Posdaya binaan Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) itu dinilai telah menorehkan sejumlah prestasi.

Posdaya merupakan skema pemberdayaan masyaraka kerja sama Yayasan Damandiri bersama sejumlah perguruan tinggi, termasuk Unnes.

Setelah dilakukan evaluasi pada 19 Agustus, Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) memutuskan Posdaya Sinar Mawar mewakili Kabupaten Semarang berkompetisi di tingkat regional.

Satuan Tugas Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Unnes menerjunkan mahasiswa KKN sejak Oktober 2012 untuk merintis dan membina PosdayaSinar Mawar. Bersama masyarakat setempat, mereka merancang dan menjalankan program pemberdayaan di empat bidang, yaitu pendidikan, kesehatan, ekonomi, dan lingkungan.

Pada bidang pendidikan, misalnya, Posdaya Sinar MAwar telah mengoptimalkan fungsi PAUD Assyifa yang ada di desa Wonokerto, menyosialisasikan minat baca, dan mengikuti kegiataian bina keluarga balita.

Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum mengapresiasi Satga KKN yang telah mendampingi Posdaya Sinar Mawar. Ia berharap, program-program pemberdayaan keluarga terus berjalan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat.
