Pimpinan UNNES Monev PPL Antarbangsa di Thailand

Lima Belas Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) yang melakukan Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) Antarbangsa di Thailand di monitoring dan evaluasi (Monev), Jumat (25/8) lalu.

Mereka yakni Kepala Lembaga Pengembangan Pendidikan dan Profesi (LP3) UNNES Dr Abdurrahman MPd, Sigit Raharjo dari Dejavato Foundation, dan Tam dari VSA Thailand melakukan kunjungan monev mahasiswa Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) Antarbangsa.

Rombongan mengunjungi dua sekolah yaitu Chumchonbannaseethong Kindergarten – Elementary School dan Watthungkha Junior High School. Mereka disambut oleh kepala sekolah, para guru dan mahasiswa PPL di sekolah tersebut.

Dr Abdurrahman menyampaikan sambutan dari Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum kepada kepala sekolah dan guru, mengucapkan banyak terima kasih atas kerjasama yang terjalin dan bersedia  menerima mahasiswa UNNES untuk berkegiatan PPL di sekolah mereka.

Harapannya agar kegiatan PPL Antarbangsa ini bisa berlanjut dan ditingkatkan di waktu yang akan datang.

Sedangkan dari pihak sekolah yang didampingi oleh Pi Nat selaku kepala Dinas Pendidikan salah satu distrik di Songkhla juga mengucapkan banyak terima kasih atas kepercayaan UNNES untuk mengirimkan mahasiswanya berkegiatan di sekolahnya.

Pihak sekolah merasa sangat senang dengan adanya mahasiswa PPL dari UNNES, para siswa juga sangat gembira bisa diajar oleh guru dari Indonesia. Dari pihak dinas dan sekolah juga berharap masih bisa menerima mahasiswa PPL dari UNNES pada periode tahun depan.

Kegiatan PPL Antarbangsa di Thailand ini berlangsung dari mulai 3 Agustus sampai 27 September yang ikuti oleh 15 mahasiswa UNNES dari berbagai jurusan dan program studi. Para mahasiswa tersebut merupakan mahasiswa terpilih dari proses seleksi yang ketat dari sekitar 110 pendaftar.

Mereka melakukan kegiatan PPL di sekolah tingkat TK, SD, SMP, dan SMA di wilayah provinsi Songkhla Thailand. Para mahasiswa sangat menikmati kegiatan ini karena bisa mengajar siswa dari negara lain.

Selain itu, juga bisa menyesuaikan diri tantangan dan hambatan yang mereka hadapi diantaranya kendala bahasa, budaya, dan makanan. Hal ini menjadi pelajaran tersendiri bagi mereka untuk menunjukkan kreativitas dan ketangguhan dalam menghadapi serta menyelesaikan setiap kendala yang ada.
