Petugas Pindai pun Rapikan Lembar Jawab UN dengan Pisau

Petugas pemindai lembar jawab komputer (LJK) Ujian Nasional (UN) SMA/SMK 2014 di Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) terpaksa merapikan sisi lembaran itu dengan pisau pemotong (cutter).

Langkah itu ditempuh agar lembar jawab tidak gagal pindai. “Sebab jika tidak, lembaran yang berisi jawaban siswa itu tidak bisa masuk ke mesin pemindai,” ungkap Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman di sela-sela pantauan pemindaian di auditorium kampus Sekaran, Rabu (16/4) petang.

Berdasarkan amatan unnes.ac.id, demi mendapati lembaran yang tidak bisa masuk mesin pemindai, petugas segera menuju ke meja yang secara khusus digunakan untuk merapikan. Di atas meja yang beralaskan kaca itulah petugas memotong bagian dari kertas yang menyebabkan lembaran tersebut tak bisa masuk ke mesin pindai. Sisi yang baru saja dipotong itu bahkan kemudian dilapisi plastik isolasi.

“Jumlahnya tidak banyak. Hingga sore ini tak sampai 50 lembar,” ungkap Rektor seraya menyebutkan, secara keseluruhan hingga Rabu (16/4) pukul 18.00, tak kurang dari 250.000 lembar jawab dari jumlah keselurahan 1,4 juta lembar.

Menurt Rektor, kondisi tersebut disebabkan pemisahan lembar jawaban dari cover soal dengan teknik penyobekan tidak pada titik yang pas. “Sebenarnya sudah ada titik-titik yang menunjukkan tempat penyobekan, tetapi lipatan atau titik-titik itu tidak selalu presisi. Itu pula yang menyebabkan hasil sobekannya tidak bisa masuk ke mesin pemindai,” katanya.

Rektor juga menandaskan, tidak boleh terjadi siswa tidak mendapatkan nilai gara-gara lembar jawabnya tidak bisa dipindai. “Ada yang mengisi lingkaran pada jawaban tidak penuh sehingga tidak terbaca. Ada yang sepintas jawabannya sudah hitam oleh pensil dan memenuhi lingkaran, tapi tidak tersedia lantaran pensil yang digunakan ternyata tidak standar. Untuk semua itu, petugas akan menambah ketebalan jawaban atau menyempurnakan isian agar menjadi penuh,” katanya.

Jika langkah-langkah itu tidak memungkinkan, lanjut Prof Fathur, petugas baru menggunakan mesin pemindai citra (image scaning). “Di samping 20 mesin pemindai, memang kami sediakan tiga image scaning sebagai sapu jagat,” katanya.

Sebelumnya disampaikan oleh Prof Fathur, dengan 20 mesin pemindai plus tiga pemindai citra, pihaknya akan mampu menyelesaikan pemindaian 1,4 juta lembar jawab dalam tempo enam hari setelah hari terakhir UN kemarin. Mesin pemindai tersebut dioperasikan oleh 180 petugas yang terbagi atas tiga shift dan mereka bekerja 24 jam nonsetop.
