Pertukaran Pelajar Mendukung Internasionalisasi Unnes

International Office Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menggelar seminar bertajuk “Sosialisasi Pertukaran Pemuda Antar-Negara (PPAN) dan Studi di Jerman,” Rabu (12/3), di rektorat kampus Sekaran, Gunungpati, Semarang.

Kepala International Office Unnes, Dr Januarius Mujiyanto, mengatakan melalui sosialisasi ini, peserta diharap memahami persyaratan yang harus disiapkan serta kiat-kiat yang harus dilakukan selama proses seleksi.

Ia juga berharap agar semakin banyak mahasiswa tertarik dengan program pertukaran pelajar antar-negara ini. Kegiatan diikuti puluhan mahasiswa Program Pascasarjana (PPs) Unnes.

Staf International Office, Hendi Pratama, menjelaskan manfaat mengikuti program PPAN ini. Ia menceritakan pengalamannya ketika mengikuti acara pertukaran pelajar di Australia.

Selain itu, Mrs Diana dan Mr Khaleed yang tergabung dalam anggota Purna Cara Muda Indonesia (PCMI) juga berbagi pengalaman ketika proses seleksi dan selama mengikuti program.

“Salah satu persyaratan untuk mengikuti program ini, peserta harus memiliki bakat dalam bidang seni khususnya tari,” katanya.

Setiap minggu peserta harus menampilkan pertunjukkan seni tari di tempat yang berbeda selama di luar negeri. “Tentunya itu semua bisa disiapkan mulai dari sekarang,” tutur Mr Khaleed.

Acara dilanjut dengan sosialisasi studi di Jerman, disampaikan mahasiswa lulusan Jerman, Mr Rahman dan Mr Efendi dari lembaga World University Service Komite Indonesia (WUSKI).

Mereka berbagi pengalaman dengan kemasan yang berbeda dan juga memberikan informasi yang cukup detail terkait informasi studi di Jerman. Menurut mereka, banyak pengalaman ketika studi di Jerman, terutama dalam pengembangan karakter.
