Biografi

Margareta Rahayuningsih, aktif melakukan penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat khususnya di bidang keanekaragaman hayati dan lingkungan hidup. Dalam 15 tahun terakhir, melakukan penelitian keanekaragaman Hayati di kawasan Hutan Gunung Ungaran dan Kawasan penyangga Gunung Ungaran. Baginya Kawasan Gunung Ungaran merupakan hutan alam yang masih tersisa di Jawa Tengah selain memiliki keanekaragaman hayati yang tinggi juga merupakan kawasan hulu yang perlu dilestarikan. Kerusakan di kawasan hulu akan berpengaruh pada wilayah di sekitar Gunung Ungaran dan Semarang sebagai ibukota Jawa Tengah. Oleh karena itu sebagai salah satu komitmen UNNES dalam melestarikan lingkungan pada awal Tahun 2024, Margareta bersama tim yamg dibentuk Rektor UNNES telah menyusun dokumen pengajuan KHDTK (Kawasan Hutan dengan Tujuan Khusus) UNNES di Gunung Ungaran. Setelah melalui beberapa tahapan penelaahan di Kementrian LHK, pada tanggal 30 Agstus 2024 UNNES telah menerima Penetapan KHDTK Pendidikan dan Pelatihan di Gunung Ungaran seluas 68,42 Ha sesuai dengan Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan RI Nomor 1134 Tahun 2024. Tercatat sebagai tenaga ahli penyusunan RPJP Cagar Alam di Jawa Tengah, anggota tim sumberdaya genetik Jawa Tengah, Juri Sekolah Sobat Bumi Pertamina Foundation, tim penilai sekokah Adiiwiyata, validator Rikhus Vektora (Riset Khusus Vektor dan Reservoir Penyakit), Tenaga ahli survei populasi Tokek dan Monyet Ekor Panjang di Jateng Kerjasama BRIN-BKSDA, Tenaga ahli kelayakan Hutan Tinjomoyo sebagai Kebun Raya (DLH Kota Semarang), Tenaga ahli kehati vegetasi dan sumber air (Bapeda Kota Semarang), Tenaga ahli Satgas Konflik Manusia dan Satwa liar Jateng, Tim Penyusunan Kuota Pengambilan Tumbuhan Alam dan Penangkapan Satwa Liar (TSL) Tk Nasional
