Biography

Sebagai pakar Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan bidang otomotif, Prof. Dwi Widjanarko banyak melakukan pengembangan pembelajaran dalam pendidikan kejuruan secara khusus pada bidang otomotif. Pembelajaran diarahkan ke pemanfaatan teknologi agar pembelajaran dapat diakses secara lebih luas dan tak terbatas. Berbagai media pembelajaran otomotif berbasis teknologi telah dikembangkan baik untuk pembelajaran offline maupun online. Beberapa di antaranya adalah multimedia kelistrikan otomotif, simulator pengujian kelistrikan otomotif, video dan animasi pembelajaran otomotif (offline dan online), web pembelajaran otomotif dan pendidikan kejuruan, dan media-media lainnya dalam bidang otomotif. Banyak hak cipta dan beberapa paten yang telah diperoleh dari luaran penelitian pembelajaran otomotif. Selain fokus di pembelajaran kejuruan otomotif, Prof. Dwi Widjanarko juga aktif melakukan penelitian terkait bahan bakar otomotif terbarukan (biodiesel). Banyak penelitiannya tentang pembuatan biodiesel dan aplikasinya pada mesin diesel telah dilakukan dengan beberapa luaran seperti jurnal internasional bereputasi, hak cipta, dan beberapa paten alat pengolah biodiesel.
